considering everything that comes with it needs to be upgraded its not a good deal.
Why to never buy from Stealth Hydroponics
1. their nutrients dont dissolve completely so they need to be added to water then strained with a coffee strainer.
2. their pH strips are horribly in accurate and the pH up and down is a powder for which the instructions are to add .2 of a gram to get the pH of 1 gallon down by .01. Who in the hell wants to deal with that crap?
3. their res is transparent blue, allowing to much light in and in turn heating up the water
4. their 6 plant kit is to small for large plants. I dont know why they even make it. It should be 4 tops.
5. you need to add at least an airstone for each plant, so you need to buy more airstones and then upgrade your airpump because it wont support it
6. their waterpump and feeding system is useless after the first week. It would be easier watering by hand then cleaning that POS and having to remove it before the roots grow into the intake.
7. you have to have the pro drainage kit added to empty the res, and then you have to have it elevated inorder to drain it
8. their airstone FLOATS so you need to find a way to keep it at the bottom
9. the worst part about them is that things that are covered under warranty and break, you need to send back using the money out of your own pocket for them to fix it and it takes weeks. so that means you need to go out and buy something to keep your crops going until then with money out of your own pocket again. IE light sockets etc etc...
10. the dual spectrum lighting is crap. You want around 6500k for vegging and 2700k for flowering, not both at the same time. and the multi spectrum lighting comes with a 105 Watt 4000k bulb that basically does nothing because plants do not respond to that color light well.
Lastly, their staff there are complete morons and have no sense of what a warranty or refund entails. I tried dealing with them humanely. Told them that the reflector broke and broke a bulb, but they only offered to fix the reflector and not replace the bulb and only if i went out got 3 new sockets found a way to mount them in the space I have, then send the reflector back using money out of my own pocket. They said it would be 2-4 weeks before I got it back. Keep in mind this POS was only a week old. And Fuck you roseman stop pawning this shit off on others who dont know just so you can get some fucking nutrients and lights for free. You are an ass. Buyers beware, there are a million other sites that offer hydroponics systems for the same price that come with better lighting and better equipment. Dont be fooled by Stealth hydro saying they invented something called bubbleponics. Its a deep water culture that is to small for the plants with a feeding tube that is only used for a week at most.
