Stealth Grow - Ikea Dresser - 252 Watts

This is going to (hopefully) be a journal from seed to smoke if all goes well. We have put nearly 20 hours and about $225 into construction of the box and we're just about ready to start growth.

The dresser we are using came from IKEA for just over $60. The dimensions of it are 15" deep x 27" wide x 43" tall. We have left out most of the drawer hardware and covered the walls with reflective material. It will be large enough to fit 2x 2 gallon pots comfortably, but we have 3 in there for sexing purposes as of now.

After we hang our light fixture, which consists of 3x 42w 6500K CFLs and 3x 42w 2700K CFLs, and the pots are in place, we have a little over 2 feet of vertical growth space left over. The lights are wired in parallel to one outlet plug which is on a timer.

Our soil choice was MiracleGro Organic Mix, and our seeds are a mix of 2-3 different strains.

I'm working on uploading pictures for you guys, I'll put up what I have here in a minute and more will come soon.

I welcome and appreciate any advice/suggestions that you guys may have concerning this grow.

Here's a picture during construction of the dresser. The board that goes wide is on the bottom half of the dresser to give you guys a visual.

The dresser is actually almost complete besides hanging the light fixture, this was just the only picture I had right now.

Here are a couple pictures from construction plus 1 little baby that's sitting in a pc for now.

i am not sure how your door will work, but I can tell you from experience, you want as much doorway opening as you can have to be able to get your plants in and out, and so you can check on them and so forth. remember they get BIG!

Thanks for the reply! A large part of the front piece is on internal hinges. It opens pretty wide. The plants won't be leaving the grow cabinet often, but if need be we can always pull them out ass end first. The very top drawer will also be able to be opened to adjust the light fixture chains.

Update: Another baby has broke surface! Still nothing from the other 2 cups, but there is hope.
