Stealth grow dresser

Thinking a generic Ikea dresser, specifically this one, dimensions are:
"Width: 31 1/2 "
Depth: 18 7/8 "
Height: 48 3/8 "

Width: 80 cm
Depth: 48 cm
Height: 123 cm"

400 watt HPS, 2-4 plants.
Think it's big enough to support that? I think so, just want the opinion of you experienced growers.

Soil grow, don't know what nutrients yet, obviously some fans and a homemade carbon filter, going to keep it real simple.

400w hps? You're going to need about 2' vertical - 1' vert space for the lamp fixture and 1' vert for space between the lamp and the plants' canopy.

If you have them in a 12" pot that only gives you about 1' of growth in height. You could ditch the HPS and go with LED or t5 and then that should be plenty of space...but with an HPS you're pushing the limits and may want to go taller (I am planning on a 72" h. x 48" w. x 20" d. melamine storage cabinet).

Here's a great grow journal from a built out Ikea dresser - Good luck!
