Stealth grow cab discussion/invention/innovation

So I finally bought my grow cab today. Target has the best deals for small cabinets. I'll post a pic later. It was $30, and pretty compact yet big enough for LST or autoflowers. I'm going to get the emergency blanket tomorrow and see if I can start germing some seeds this weekend.

In drug screening news, I bought one of those 1.89 liter bottles of cranberry juice to drink an hour before I could leave to get tested (I was able to go whenever since its a family business deal) and probably drank 4/5 in less than an hour. Glad I did, I threw up about .5 liters right in front of my mom and was able to postpone my drug screen til monday. I'm going to do some intense sweating over the weekend to further make sure my body is purged of thc metabolites. That's all for now guys. Later.

Got the cab, nice. When I first saw you were taking a drug screen, along with the fact you were moving state to state, I assumed you were in some type of shit. Then I saw your post with the article, nice read may I say. Anyway, good luck on that. I good friend of mine didn't smoke for a month. His dad was lining him up with this sweet gig, a big corporation with mad benefits (if that's your thing), but one night he got real drunk (he was an idiot of a drunk at the time) and sat in on a multiple blunt session. This was on a thursday, and he took the test on monday, still passed. Those things are overrated, and I think it's a general scare tactic used to keep youth. They are used to scare the intelligent youth from any radicalization and "drug" use.

Sorry about the rant. Now that you have the cab have you started on it? How are you germing? I went straight in the soil, and haven't had a problem since. What strains did you get?

I enjoy other people's rants, makes me feel better about doing it myself. Yeah, haha I work for my uncle in a nursing home, I'll start on monday. I was freaking out that whole weekend wondering if I would be able to pass. I even bought some acai berry detox pills (which may have helped, who knows) and just upped the dosage and had loose stool all day haha.

I was going to start building my cab, but apparently my brother is coming out to visit this weekend, so I figure better safe than sorry, I'll just work on it after he leaves. However, I may have to go down to 6 cfl's since this box isn't that deep. I may buy a 2ft flouro tube at wal-mart to supplement it though. But I have my soil, mylar, pots, seeds (Nirvana's autoflower Bubblelicious), thermometer, light stuff. I have small fans, but I still need to buy a 200mm fan for my exhaust/ carbon filter.

Anyways, about the urine test, I think I passed because I have not yet heard back from a Medical Review Officer (they call if you fail to see if there's any reason you fail the screening) and I heard from my aunt I start on monday. I can't tell you how much reading I have been doing online about immunoassay tests and detection periods lol I feel like an expert.

Anyways, plan on an update next monday, I might start germing them sun. night or mon. but I'm still using dialup so there may or may not be pics. peace

EDIT: I'm not sure how I'm going to germ, I used the paper towel method last time, but I think I may just sink the seeds in a glass of water overnight and put them in soil the next day. Nirvana discourages paper towel cause it may stick to the tap root, so I'll probably do it like you.

I've never had any problems with the paper towel method, as long as you keep the paper towel moist and warm, it should be good. I think Nirvana might say that because they sell those peat plugs. Although I do plan on using peat plugs for my next grow. I found a greenhouse things that came with 72 of 'em.

Yeah it worked fine for me too.. I'll just do some reading the night before and decide what method I want to use. I'm only doing two seeds so I may just put them in the pots

i know wat that is like oddly enuf i own my own business and if my employees knew that i was growing in my office........ i think they might ask for raises lol its funny how they dont think i know when they are high lol maybe i should give a different year end bonus hahaha..... i have a filing cabinet with 6 cfls 26 watt i have a carbon filter made out of a bathroom exhaust fan and a shoe box with carbon and a ac filter and 2 2liter bottles making co2......... the good thing about using a filing cabinet is that i can lock it and its fire proof incase of a fire chanses are that it wont spread.

I would love to see a pic of your filing cabinet! It seems like a hard piece of equipment to turn into a grow cab. I wanted something I could lock, but I'll probably be fine with what I have.

yeah it was it took a plasma welder, 2 friends and about a quarter of some fire ass kush but we got it done
