nice. cant think of anything to criticize really. you got enough lights, and ventilation. Is there inbound air too? other than that good job man.

Thanks everyone for the positive responses! Believe it or not I have been working on this dresser seems like nonstop for over a week now. It feels so good to hear people telling me they like it. Im still tweaking it though. I want more light and less temp! lol :) Dont we all! I will without a doubt be updating almost everyday. This is really this first time I have become active on forums and I really like it. Keeps me from wanting to tell someone locally. We all know where that will get ya! Georgia doesn't play about growing at all.

I have a few questions for all you viewers...

First
Where in the USA would be a best place to grow, from a criminal punishment stand point, if I was to go large scale with this thing? Not too large just like 20 plants or so. I am looking to move and I have Automotive skills that would basically allow me to find a job anywhere. I hate it here and im ready to see the world! lol

Second
4 of my CFLs in my cab are these "Reveal" GE 26w bulbs. They had them placed on the shelf in Wal-Mart with the 6500k daylight bulbs and (im not going to lie) the nice packaging made me decide to get these over the others. They were 13 cent more. $10.00 for a 2 pack. Now that I have installed them and looked at them they don't appear to be 6500k bulbs. They look the same as all the others in the pic. Did I fuck up?

Third
Since I intend to always run this setup at a 12/12 from seed to harvest. Do I need to replace the bulbs if they aren't 6500k? I know i've read a lot about needing 6500k for vegging and its good to have a mix for flowering as well, but dont people who have an HPS setup only have a 2700k temp bulb? Im not trying to be cheap as I can probably just exchange these for the ones I need. Im just curious how big of a difference will it make?

And last but not least...
If you could throw a 70w HPS in there with those CFLs would you? or maybe 2? In my opinion you go big or you go home lol.. Maybe like 4 2700k 26w cfls and 4 6500k 26w cfls and then 2 HPS 70w bulbs. That would be around 26,000 Lumens. Right now my soon to be 12 to 14 CFLs are pushing 20,400 to 23,800 lumens. But I do want to avoid setting the house on fire so are the HPS's unreasonable for such a small cramped area?

Thanks again for all your support and advice!

Adding the HPS will make temps impossible without introducing A/C to the cabinet or air cooling the HPS fixtures.

to air cool the light you would need a sealed light fixture and ducting with a fan to bring cool air into the light chamber and cool the light... kinda like putting the light in a mini wind tunnel. i would probably want to make sure that you have a few 6500K bulbs in your assortment... it will help. check out home depot. i bought bulbs at walmart and then saw a 4 bulb value pack at home depot that was about $10 cheaper than what I had bought at walmart.

other than that... pretty nice looking little setup you got there!

I may be wrong when I say this because im still a Noob, but I would think with the right ventilation you could throw a 400whps cooltube in there and have great results.

Looks good man, definitely looks like you took your time on this setup. I wouldn't add any more lights to your setup first dial in your temps, see how these 2 plants do with what you got. I think I read you are doing 12/12 from seed, are you using feminized seeds? I think SOG would be the way to go in that setup.

Well everyone I have made a few changes here and there with my fans and such. I have now gotten it to stay around 82F to 84F at night and 90F to 92F during the day. Is this still to hot? Could it be possible that since my lights sit less than 5" from where my thermometer is being placed that the lights are throwing it off just a little. When I open it up it defiantly isnt hot feeling inside anywhere except where I can feel the light. The fans are actually doing such a good job circulating the air that it feels like theres never a chance for the air to even heat up. Additionally my house is kept at 68F at night and 72F during the day everyday no matter what.

the thermometer needs to be farther from the light if you want and accurate temp 8-)

Thanks Snowman. If you could take a look at my pics and tell me if you think its possible to put it anywhere then. I only have about 5" for the bottom of my lights to the floor. I dont know what to do.
