im exhausting to the room im growing in i know its not ideal but my room stays very cool plus i dont mind having windows open to keep the room cool aswell. Plus i suppose i coudl exhuast out the room door during day when peopl are out
BAD BAD BAD BAD BAD BAD BAD IDEA!

ITs not just about keeping it cool its about keeping the air rich in NEW Co2. The heat that comes from a 600w is immense bro! I use a 600w and if i was to exhaust into the room i was growing in it wouldnt keep temps stable.

Rhino Filters are some of the best filters if not THE BEST filters on the market.

The key to grow room design is pull clean cooler air from the area you grow in and exhaust it as far away from your grow as you can!

Also all this kit in your bedroom is gonna make it very difficult for you to sleep and also make it difficult for people in your house to not know something is going on.

You will also be looking at around £30-£40 extra per month on your electricity bill.

Ok heres another idea if i was to somehow use a fan for intake which ducting will be attached to and have by the window seal next to open window? If that a good idea how i would i do this what fan would i need without effecting the exhuast fans?

people in house know and are ok as long as smell is controlled which shouldnt be a problem with rhino filter and ona products

I just dont think that is the answer you will still be heating up the ambient area around your grow.

You should look to duct all your hot air somewhere not just pull cold air in.

If you can exhaust your hot air away then the air in your bedroom would remain with enough Co2 to grow successfully.

Have you considered using a smaller lamp? maybe 400w? a 600w is good for a 4x4 floor area. a 400w is good for a 3x3

Are they ok with being arrested too if you get caught for allowing this to go on in the house?

Being a tenant is not ideal to be growing!

If you chose a 400w this is the kit you would need

400w lamp
RVK125A1 fan
RVK100A1 fan and filter

Same system sealed lighting
independant fan and filter

BUt again would still need to exhaust away from your growing environment.

well ill stick to the 150 fan as its like 200m3+ roughly and only £5 more so makes sense tbh
IF thats what you decide.

If someone comes to me for help i help them as best i can but there are certain rules to follow when designing a grow room.

These rules are specified by the type of system you wish to run.

1 major rule is that you pull air and exhaust air in 2 different places. This is basic grow room design. IF you have a Hydro Shop near you i suggest you go there and look for the URBAN GARDEN MAGAZINE with the orange cover on how to design a grow room.

If you plan on leaving a window open then you need to exhaust away from your grow room its as simple as that. Now this could simply be a hole in the ceiling of your room going up into the attic. OR it could be a vent on the window allowing hot air out.

But one thing that remains constant is that if you are using passive or powered intakes is that you take your clean air from an area that is not getting consistantly warmer.

Your bedroom would become unbareable after a few hours of running your system even with the window open.

Something else you also have to plan for is running during the summer months. And with your current idea your temps inside your cab would be too high if you are still exhausting into your bedroom.

Yer ill think of places and ways to which i can exhaust to thats not in the grow area, will i need to have both exhausts the light hood one and carbon filter one going out or just the light hood exhuast going out the room?

You could get away with just the light hood exhaust away from your grow. Simply because this is where most of the heat will be.

The carbon filter could be left in your room as this is really just going to be used to to clean the air and create enough air exchange. However Carbon filters generally only clean 99% of the smell and not 100% but the smell would be negledgable.

In the ideal scenario both would be exhausting.

At least with this system you wouldnt need to keep your window open and you could keep the heating on in your room within reason. Aslong as you bedroom does not exceed 24C your grow cab would stay within 2C of this temp.

Lol my room is like a fridge pretty much all the time :D for some reason its just a cold spot. I could maybe do to the attic but then would that get to heated up there? or would it be fine?

I exhaust up to my attic and all is well. I even still have snow on my roof and all i do is point my exhaust at my chimney stack!

Because your sealed lighting system is not pulling air from your grow room you shouldnt have a problem with black mold or anything else so you should be good. IF you room is cold then i would suggest allowing your carbon filter to exhaust into your bedroom. Might help heat up your room a little But i would say that you MAY have to rethink it for the summer so be prepared to have to exhaust both into your attic.

There is alot of open debate about venting to an attic. And soon i am redesigning my own grow room due to a "new arrival" and i plan on venting my room INTO my chimney stack rather than just into the attic. IT is something that you would have to keep an eye on just to be on the safe side. BUt it should be ok.
