Hey whats up! first time posting so i figured id start out with a stealth computer cabinet build. Over the next month im gonna be putting together this stealth grow box for personal use. Id appreciate any ideas or opinions. The box is going to be for a soil 2 plant (flowering), 1 plant (vegging) SCROG with 1 plant finishing every 4 weeks or so.

- Flowering area = 32in W x 18in D x 54in H

- Vegging area = 16in W x 18in D x 28in H

...the middle shelf is going to be taken out.

Here is my list of supplies i am planning on getting. Let me know if im leaving anything out.

- 400w Apollo HPS digital ballast
- 400w Apollo HPS bulb
- cool tube
- 4" duct fan / Carbon Filter
- 4" duct Muffler
- Light Timer
- Light hangers
- Thermometer / Humidity Meter
- Fan speed controller
- PVC for scrog screen
- Flat white paint
-pots / soil
- 4" Ducting
- power strip
- Flame defender

This cab HAS TO BE STEALTH!!! It is too big to fit through my hallway so it is going to be in my living room in my apartment.

*QUESTIONS*

1.) Is a 400w HPS too hot for this size cabinet?
2.) Would it be a better idea to use a 6" duct fan instead of a 4" ?
3.) Should i use a cool tube or an air cooled hood?

Thats about it....im sure i forgot a few things haha. Feel free to post any ideas or opinions you may have. Ill be updating this frequently so keep checking back. Thanks

get the 400 dimmable incase your vent setup can't take the whole 400 in those dimensions you can dial it back to 300w or even 200.
When you say duct fan are you talking the 20$ booster duct fan or a 50-80$ inline duct fan?
If its the inline a 4in will be more then adequate for that area, may even want to invest in a speed ontroller so you can dial it back a bit.
a 400w hps/mh dimmable digital setup runs about 115$ on ebay and if you want a cool tube(recommended with a cab grow like that)you can get the ballast hood bulbs hangers timer and cool tube for under 150$ i believe it's apollo brand which cheap maybe but i have one that has lasted a year now with not a problem.

edit-didnt see you had a speed controller on your list
