the lights are almost right above them, they dont get hot so i will move them close as i can...thanks
AHhh... you must be talking about HTGSupply. I love having the second light, its actually a new addition to my room and I'm somewhat of a newbie myself.cool thanks for the good advice and kind words...i was planning on a 440 cfm inline but the carbon filter for that is huge, and the guy at the store was saying it could be overkill...only reason i went with smaller fan was b/c of the size of the carbon filter. right now the temps are about 5 degrees higher then the outside room and i do not have the exhaust or intake working at the moment, but once i get the 400 i know it will be hot. i am gonna give it a couple test runs and see how the temps go once i get this...Adorama Darkroom Light Tight Louvers, 8"X8". will let you guys know how its. have seen a couple post where people used them and liked em, so i will let you know...babies are looking great and all them are starting to stand tall..plan on switching pots and putting the 400 on them in the next week or so..
spliff:::: how are the 2 400's in there? was thinking of buying another one. hard to pass up a deal for $119. are those reliable lights / systems? currently i have sun system, but have only got 1 grow under my belt so still new...
The light from HTG is gonna get just as hot as any other light of the same wattage. Yes the reflector will get hot, just like any other metal reflector. Any reflector you get is gonna get hot. That's why I mentioned that for your setup, it would be good to get an air coolable reflector for a little extra money. Right now you might not think it's worth it, but you probably will in a few months.splif...have you had any heat issues with yout htgsupply light? the babies are growing like crazy, will post new pics later on today..we are on day 11 today....only 80 more to go...lol
I use a 300 cfm to exhaust two 400 w hoods. For one hood you could probably get away with one of the smaller inline duct fans that they sell at Home Depot that are much cheaper than the ones you get at a hydro store.Yeah I'll Probably Go With An Air Cooled Reflector For Sure...i Wanna Get The Light As Close As Possible And Thats Sounds Like The Best Way. What Size Of Fan Do I Need For That. Could I Just Buy One Of The Small Inline Duct Fans? I Already Have The Ballast Mounted Up High, Right Next To The Carbon Filter, Will Also Have A Small Fan Blowing On The Ballast. Will Give It A Test Run Once I Recieve My Intake, And Will Let You Know The Results...when You Exhaust Your Room Does The Temp Change Immediatly?
