Stay away from ILGM!!!!!!!

Right, and all we're saying, is that some seed banks don't, and thats the ones you should consider going with, if you want original genetics.

Ultimately, it's your choice who you get your seeds from. I'm not trying to sway your decisions. Just informing.
I hear you. It’s just hard to imagine they are that bad, or would stay in business when their seeds are more expensive than most, they have no problem replacing seeds, and they have all these guarantees. I guess I’m a bit butthurt cause I bought Sour Diesel from ILGM before I saw all these claims about them. I like all their guarantees, that’s the main reason I bought seeds from them. No one else offers the same guarantees, or you gotta submit a request within 60 days of purchase. I appreciate the help/advice. I guess I gotta do my research, cause I have no idea where to get seeds now.

Grew New420 guys Santa Marta Columbia Gold last year. Had a question and Paul responded right away. These are not feminized seeds but they are worth the extra effort. Took almost 14 weeks of flower but this strain is spot on! A great happy high

so why would they sell shit seeds but give good grow information? Makes no sense.
Why would they post good info? Info is free. Their seeds arent necessarily, " shit" , theyre just inconsistent as hell. In the end, there are better and cheaper options. 10+10 sounds great until you find after 1 run that you dont like them and still have a bunch that you dont care to run. If somebody is that determined to use them then whatever. Do you. Yes most of it still gets you high but, if youre interested in quality and consistency of end product then eventually youll look somewhere else. If someone is going to use em then run photos. At least then if you find a good pheno you can clone it. Their autos ive tried are terpless.

It’s crazy people say they don’t sell the strains they claim. It makes no sense that they outline how to grow each specific strain, and give a lot of information about each strain. What would be the point of this if every strain they sell grows way differently than what they outline on their website?

Then stick with them. I’m just some bot on the internet, what do I know. And the rest of this community is in a conspiracy to take down ilgm.

It's not crazy at all. Example, Sour Diesel no longer exists in seed form. Clones would be your only option. If you buy Sour Diesel seeds online, you're getting something else that's not Sour Diesel. That's not unique to ILGM, it's just a fact. Many of the strains they sell are like that. OG Kush? same thing. And many others.

ILGM outsources their seed making to Spain (as do many, many others). In some cases they have legit clones to work with, often times they do not. They tend to favor plant vigor and what produces the most pollen. For example, they might have a mom that turns purple, produces a ton of pollen, and doesn't herm at all. Great, now we can reverse that mom and use it for our blueberry, purple punch, purple urkle, etc etc Point is you never know what you're getting exactly because these places are not 100% forthcoming about the genetics they're using.

I'm not trying to bash on ILGM. They're a bulk bean outfit. They are no different than RQS or Seedsman. All those places are like the Walmart of seeds. It is what it is.

If you want true genetics, you need to do your research. Either track the down the legit clone, or find breeders that have worked with the legit clone. This is why Bodhi and CSI are so popular around here, because we all know the clones they use are the legit real deals. At best the Euro breeders have by and large proven themselves untrustworthy regarding their genetics. It is well known.

You might find some great plants in ILGM seeds. Nothing wrong them and I have no reason to discourage you from buying ILGM seeds, but you should at least be armed with the truth so you can make an informed decision regarding the genetics you want in your garden.

"Everytime i try to get out they pull me back in " lol. Im done with this thread anyway. You can lead a grower to ( or away from)a breeder but ultimately its their choice. If someone is determined to use this seller i say good luck! And good night! The only way you totally lose is to not grow. Peace out! " mike drop"

It's really not that crazy, cannabis seeds are one of the easiest things in the world to "counterfeit". Think about it, they all look more or less the same. It's easy to slap a popular strain name on a little mylar bag and claim it's something desirable that the unassuming customer would want. Ex: Sour diesel is popular right now, or the memory OF sour diesel, so they take whatever seedstock they have and slap a sour diesel sticker on the pack, steal a couple pictures off another grower or seed distributor, add a lengthy strain description and bam, new buyers who aren't hip to how the cannabis seed industry works buy them thinking its the real deal. Here's the real kicker, MOST growers can't get their hands on the real deal cuts of the strains they want, so unless they're particularly astute and pay attention to others grow reviews how would they even know? Meanwhile if you grew the original clone next to the seeds you popped they'd look nothing alike, smell nothing alike, and generally speaking be completely different in almost every aspect. Always be weary of a seed company who isn't A: a verified seed dealer for a specific breeder, and B: any seed company that claims to have every desirable strain under the sun but has no publicly known head breeder. Ex: Bloom seed co, well known for Grape Cream Cake/Tropicana Cookies has Harry Palms, Archive seedbank, well known for Dosido and Face off og and Rainbow Belts has Fletcher, Csi Humboldt, well known for their old school clone only varieties and Obama Kush has Caleb aka the nspecta, Seed Junky genetics, well known for breeding Wedding Cake, Jealousy and Permanent Marker has J Beezy. You see, those of us in the know have an awareness of who bred the strains we enjoy, or who has a solid reputation for putting out quality seeds who may be working with certain strains we want. We don't just Google a strain name and pick the first bright shiny page that pops up on the screen with guarantees lol sometimes we even do sketchy things like sending straight up cash in an envelope with a piece of paper with an order number on it for a strain with no description or shiny pics, based solely on the reputation of the breeder we're buying from and how much we like the parent plants of said strain. Crazy right?! Lol

It’s crazy that people can’t wrap their minds around this. They can just buy bulk white label seeds from Spain at less that 10 cents per seed and sell them to people that don’t know better for $100+ per pack. It’s a great business model if you have no conscience

It's the same with CrapKing and Pacific Seed Bank. Many more out there just like them too.

Upon the discovery of your website I thought I had finally found just who I was looking for!! A great selection and price. I m not about to bicker with you over your seeds but I can tell you that the seeds you sent me are complete garbage. I soaked them and soaked them. I put them in propagation and still nothing!! Out of 20 seeds I have 11 that will not pop. I am incredibly disappointed and will be passing my experience along. I suggest you take a look at your suppliers because less than 50% is unacceptable.
Seed supreme ..never fails .

Do people find cup-winners in ILGM packs? No.

Does every pack of ILGM suck? No.

Does every pack of Bodhi or CSI slay? No.

Should you research the seed lines/clones you're interested in? Yes.

Are white label seeds worth it? You get what pay for.

Are expensive boutique seeds worth it? Maybe, but there's no guarantees in popping seeds.

I just did a test with Premium Seeds and ILGM, and ILGM performed just fine. I do not like the soak method, and do not use it. When I didn't use a heat mat and domes I had bad outcomes (after 2019...before that i could start them outside in a pot and they all came up quickly). When I left the dome on too long I also had a bad outcome for some plants. The weather is different now than in 2018 and 2019, and the potting soil I use is more full of fungus gnats than ever before...and many other challenges...BUT I am trying to be fair with ILGM, and I don't think any of this is their fault. It is ONLY BLUE DREAM FEMINIZED (outdoor organic) for me though, so my experience isn't a very thorough run through of their supplies.
