Starting with a big yeilder

So obviously grower experience and environment are the biggest thing but starting with big" genetics must help somewhat.
So my question is
What seed do I buy

if you just want a big yealder, look for seeds with xxl or xl, which means extra large or extra extra large meaning harvests

Keep in mind that “big” yielding strains tend to be kinda leafy. Some of the critical mass strains I’ve run really do pack on weight but they are not all that special in the flavor department. Just like an average afghani with chunky buds. A lot of O.G. strains are like this too. None of these are “bad” just meh imo
You will need patience to veg long enough and train them out to grow big ass buds but almost any strain can be made to yield max if given the right amount of time and training. I found that my favorite strains tend to have dense compact buds with exotic flavors. Sour diesel comes to mind; not the greatest yielder but just can’t stop myself from growing and/or crossing w/it.
Grape diamonds? Yes...I 2nd that one... never ran it myself but got to try the smoke quite recently. Exquisite. I suggest trying a tried and true strain ...maybe something like HSO Blue Dream for your first time out. Seeds are found most anywhere plus the bud structure of BD usually yields nicely. I like those Christmas tree shaped spires of cola bud. And the flavor is distinct; never get tired of it.

You can grow any plan large and get a big yield. What you like is way more important than buying a stain on the basis that it will yield alot.

That comes down to skill and time.
But if the variables are 1.the grower 2. The environment and 3. The genetics starting with the right genetics is 1 part of the bigger equation

My last big strain was Useful's orange cookies x chocolate diesel. His chocolate sunset was big too but he discontinued it

Gemtree, I have some of Useful's orange cookies x chocolate diesel, I was thinking of popping Slippery Susan, Milk Monkey or maybe Dracarys - you think I should start with the Orange Cookies x Choc. Diesel instead maybe? Looking for a good water hash yielding mom with a good terp profile, I currently run BOG's Sour Strawberry and have been getting phenomenal yields - I run everything WPFF and then press rosin fm the bubble hash... unfortunately this pheno is nothing but GAS as far as terps but is fire and on a dried flower press yields as much as 29-30% so it's hard to get away from lol

Not sure haven't grown those others. Oc x cd has killer orange terps and frosts up pretty good. Not dense but not fluffy bud so would be good for blasting

AKs are fast, but I would consider the yield large only related to the flowering time. Decent, but not really huge.
They would jump out of the gate, but eventually get dwarfed by longer flowering strains.
While I disagree, a long sativa probably isnt going to be an enjoyable experience for a beginner.

Yeild alone is not yeild imo. Yeild divide by square feet divide by number of days from seed to harvest is yeild.
This is very true one could be a month into the 2nd grow from clone while another is just finishing a long flowering sativa but we could be just assuming how long as we do not know what strain he means. The longer you go the more expensive the grow
