Starting to smell outside closet a little.

Okay so i grow one plant in a closet and have 1x train wreck in there at the moment that's still in VEG, been 4 n half weeks into veg, i can smell it a tad outside the closet.. i have a carbon filter and everything working properly, negative pressure etc.. but i can smell it which is weird cause last grow which was only 2 months ago full flower couldn't smell a thing until i opened the it.
The whole closet is pretty close to air tight to my knowledge but negative pressure fixes tiny leaks anyhow.

Any ideas?!

It goes into the ceiling so wouldn't matter to much if it was the carbon filter. It's 600x 150 though but it's odorsok and been working fine.
It's been fine the last two grows but just starting to smell now and it's still in fkn veg.
Filter is around 8 months old I guess

if it all of a suddenly starts to smell like weed in the room outside the closet eeither your carbon needs to be replaced or something has changed in your ventilation.

Lol i can smell it and yeah someone else could too.. the rooms sealed and it goes into the ceiling space.
Couldn't smell it in full flower last 2 grows though.

Yeah, only just started this grow.. nothing has changed in my setup except the new grow.. plant etc.
Could be carbon filter but it goes into ceiling space so rest of the house should stink.. i still have negative pressure in the closet..
Could the smell hang around in that room if i don't open the windows for a day if i had opened the grow room in the morning and lst'd my plant a bit.. still crazy that i can smell it in veg.

Probably need a new filter but you could try a little less air through it if possible. Humidity can lower the life span. I change mine every 6-8 months as it starts to lose its effectiveness.

If your room is esssentially sealed with negative pressure doing the rest, then it sounds like your carbon filter is not doing it's job, or that you do not have the sealed/negative pressure you believe you do.

Yeah, it says it only lasts a year, but putting it into a dryer for an hour or something basically renews it.

Yeah well nothing has changed except for the plant, everything else is exactly the same.
I guess it could be the filter but whys it smell only really in that room? Should stink bad up in the ceiling.. but i can't really smell it up there.

spread hores or cow shit around every 3 weeks worked for me for the last 10 years like in the garden it stink good masks pot really well

Not sure if putting it in a drier would help but if you try let me know. I have heard that it requires extreme temps to rejuvenate them.

Hm, thats all it said on the packet when i bought it.
I put it in front of my heat pump last night and turned it over every 2 hours for a total of maybe 7 hours and put it back in the grow room..
Can't smell sweet ganja yet.. but we'll see how it goes.
