I have 2 auto flowering strains standing 4-5 inches tall and 2 seedlings, Unknown strain, grown in soil using cfls. I kinda screwed em up with the lights I was using At first they weren't really te right spectrum I found out, but any how I can visibly see pistils all over them, will this stretch any taller or is that about it? And is the bud even goin to be worth it lol

thats what im using is 23 watts but i only have 2, should i add another one? and thanks for the responces
Yes you will need to add many more. I am going to have 6 eventually but you can use a whole lot more than that. I am not sure about autoflowers. Your plant would do much better under a hps light if you have the money and space.

Sadly I dont have enough funds at the moment, but there's like 4 inches tall, I couldn't even fit 6 lights around it lol. But I'll try to add another one or maybe 2 if it fits. Thanks

About 100 watts a plant is good! I think you can get away with 50 watts if it's just the auto flower in there. I'd definitely add more lighting to your grow box though. As for the plant, we can't tell you how long it'll take to finish flowering if we don't know the strain. Each strain finishes within a different set of time. I'd say you have a month (maybe 2 just to be safe) before harvest. And yes, it will get bigger, probably about twice the size it is now. congratulations! Keep in mind, I'm growing my first auto now, so I'm new to this too. If somebody sees some wrong information in my post, feel free to correct me :leaf:

Ruderalis is a type of marijuana that does not require darkness to flower only the age of the plant.
maybe you could go to 20hr light to postpone the flowering a bit.

ruderalis is the subspecies of weed that was breed into the genepool to create autoflowering plants. cannabis ruderalis chracteristicly is very short and not very branchy. the only desirable trait from it really is the gene that makes it flower under any light cycle.
Early breeds of autoflowers still had alot of ruderalis genes in them and would display traits more typical of it while still being more potent then plain ruderalis due to the strong indica and sativa genes they were being breed with. as time went on autos were interbreed with better strains of weed as breeders tried to isolate the autoflowerign trait and better strains of autos sometimes called "super autos" were created. these autos display traits more common to whatever indica or sativa (or a hybrid of both) they originate from and only keep the autoflowering gene from there ruderalis great grand parents.

Would 92 watts of cfl be ok for my grow box? It's 2 feet by 1.5 and 1.5 feet tall. (give or take) and I got it lined with foil all over. There is 2 seedlings less than a week old and a 4 in one that's starting to show signs of preflower. What do you think? I kno more light won't hurt but would that be enough?
