Starting Seeds for hydro! Will work for soil though just as well!

I prefer seeds for the large taproot so I do not use clones(unless breeding) but here is my method. I breed my own seeds as well. More on that at a later date.

How I do it.

Cup of water, I have well water that comes out of the tap at 200 ppm, low content of minerals,! No floride or other crap! I don't have to add Calmag I can't tell you that, PH out of well 7.1, pH down to 5.7 after adding a half strength solution of nutrients.
Heating mat. Place cup on mat and let warm to 75 F. Soak seeds for 12 to 14 hours, I have had some cracking at 4 hours before.
Place in rockwool or other medium to be desired I used root riot. Place in humidome. Temp 75 F, humidity 90 percent. Put your tray on top of the mat.If the root pushes the seed out of the plug or medium, take a knife and cut the plug from 1 side to the middle, slit it and gently place the seed with root back in.
Take seedlings out when they are a few inches tall. I put mine right under my main grow light, I hang my light a little higher to avoid heat issues. 32 to 36 inches for my setup.
A lot of people keep theirs under t5s or the like but not me, I have had way stronger plants putting them under my main light right away. I know a lot of people baby their seedlings, I DONT. The sun doesn't have a dimmer switch and it doesn't give a shit about seedlings feelings and they do just fine under it in early life. If growing autos putting your seedlings under your main right away will help a lot as far as plant strength and yield in the long run.

I used a half strength solution of nutes for seedlings for 1 week, after that it is full strength till flush

Things I do not do.
Scarification
Boric acid
Paper towel method.
Indian rain dances.
Consult Psychics
Wipe ass with cactus leaf.

There that's my two cents!

My screen on my tablet cracked so this was a turd to get done I hope it helps someone out there somewhere! If I misplaced something, get over it lol
