starting new light cycle...question about flushing plants..

So this is my first grow and I think things are going very well! just introduced the 12/12 lights and was wondering if flushing the plants is a goo idea first..I fed them 2 days ago with iguana juice grow...what should be my next step?? I'm picking up a bottle of the bloom formula very soon...
during veg I've been doing 2 days of feeding followed by a watering...should I keep the same feeding schedule during flowering as well??

I would feed every other watering.
Water only when the soil get dry, to much watering will cause lots of issues.
One of the biggest being it wont grow a good root ball.
Roots that are getting all the water and food they need where they are will not grow and search out new water sources.

When I used nutrients that were mixed in water, about once a month I used to put the plants in the tub and soak the soil to try and rinse excess salt out of soil.
Not sure if it did much good but that's what I did and never had any issues.
Flushing really isn't necessary till your around 2 weeks from harvest tho.

thanks for the reply man..I was thinking the same things..I will water once before switching the nutes so get rid of excess nitrogen and get them ready for the bloom juice..good to know about the pre-harvest flush...

I wouldn't cut the nitrogen in flowering just lower it, the plants need it till the end, especially the first two weeks of flower where the plants tend to stretch a lot, keep it green man, happy

lospsi is right don't just stop N feed veg nutes the first two weeks or expect your plant to yellow out early

you can use veg nutes the whole way if you wanted. theres a thread uncle ben has explaining it very well.

is it cool to use a combo of bloom and veg nutes together? then over time just use the bloom?

why??? its simple just feed veg nutes the first two weeks of flower then switch to your bloom
