Starting HYDRO, im a soil grower any tips.,

Well is it a recirculating system or stand alone? Room size? Strain?

hydro is sooo much easier than soil man be prepared to be amazed. Dont let it intimidate u lol

its reciruclating, and about 7 foot once i drop my bored,ill do that and start my hydro after my soil harvest like normal. strain, it will be a sativa i do know that maybe hybrid

Well what I recommend is...

First off dont skimp. U will absolutely need a good ph meter/ppm meter.

Obviously trial run your system outside of the grow site to insure u have no leaks before u possibly destroy ur house/apartment...

invest in a water chiller...water temp is half the battle in hydro...

I would recommend using reverse osmosis water, however if u cannot its not a huge deal...tap water is different everywhere but my ladies love the tap...also helps kill potential pathogens so I like it.

I personally use cannanutes...its a popular brand of nutrient in the UK and has a very good pH buffer in it for hard water...

as far as grow medium, I use very little...I recommend growstones...

you mentioned something about a rotation, good point.

As u know different stages of plant life require different amounts and different types of nutrients. So that meants u have to have plants that are generallytaking around the same nutrient requiremen. So basically u wont be able to introduce new cuttings to the system once a certain nute value has been crossed.

so basically u are limited to growing the same age plants.

thats really the only negative point of rdwc as i see it.

The only nutes I really use are
cannaqua vega
cannaqua flora
cannazyme

with those products and 15 min a day I have some monster plants its seriously ridiculous. ..

whats the cheapest food you would recommend? I was thinking general hydro
