Starting All New Grow

Hey everyone! well Im basically new to this site and must say its awesome, and Ive learned alot off of here. Well I been messin around with different ways to grow and finally decided to go with a flood and drain type method (ebb & flow). I been looking at everything to buy, would really like to order off the net but I hate using a credit card for something like that, but I live in the middle of nowhere and the closest grow shop is like atleast 3 hours away....what do I do lol? Well I was lookin at 400w hps lights to go with atleast 4 plants, well I decided maybe go with 600w hps in hopes for more dense buds..... anyones opinons, thoughts? It'd be greatly appreciated peace out:joint::peace:

I don't think you will have a problem using a credit card, unless its just your own personal preference. Most people on here seem to have bought their lighting setups with cc's. I would go with the 600w if you choose to go with HPS.

haha tomatoes. i would go with the 4 hundred if you are going with only 4 plants...although more light = more bud...im not big fans of the 600's...i like the 4's

I personally love my 600s. if you do use credit card dont send shit to your grow house. Also man 3 hours aint shit. i drove 7 hours to go to the shop i wanted to. Well worth the drive to be able to see the equipment in person.

There is no reason not to have your lighting setup sent you your house. After all you're a tomato grower. That's besides the fact that people use lighting setups for hundreds of different kinds of plants.

mstrymxer is right. a paper trail is not something you want to leave behind. yes people use lights for all sorts of things. but id rather go to the store, see what im paying hundreds of dollars for in person, and pay cash and leave in a car that will never be around my place. why put yourself out there in the open if you dont have to?

Why go through such ridiculous troubles when you don't have to? Such paranoia from people here that it makes me laugh sometime. I mean seriously, paper trails? Who cares? If the goverment was looking at credit card receipts of light setups, then I'm pretty sure we'd all have agents living across the street. You guys sound like you're giving tips to serial killers: ALWAYS PAY IN CASH! Oh no, you left a paper trail? I hope I didn't leave a fingerprint at the scene of the crime, digital fingerprint that is lol. Do you really think they are looking for people who are growing like 20 plants? They're after the commercial grow ops, not something as small as this.

However I do have to agree with going to the store to see equipment before you buy it. And if you're already at the store then whats the point in paying with a cc.

Not to mention, if you're worried about paper trails and government control, then I hope you don't have a driver's license, social security number, birth certificate, public library cards, marriage license, credit cards, grocery market shopper's cards, internet or any kind of utility bill in your name. Come to think of it, if you have ever had a job, paid taxes, went to any kind of school, and especially signed up for the civil service (did you know it is now illegal to be over the age of 18 and a male and not signed up with the civil service). All these things help the government to herd us into niche specific groups in order to control people, so hope you don't have any of those things.

Sorry sir, but if you had read the entire thread you wuold have seen they were talking about lights being sent to their house and credit cards leaving a paper trail ... so in the name of maturity i suppose you would be the numnuts on this one

i just got a letter that said if i didnt sign up for my draft card in 10 days i would have charges pressed with up to five years and some multi-thousand dollar fine and i havent been 18 a year yet. I signed up of course but Canada is right up above me in case of that bullshit. And i wish i would have bought some seeds when i was in toronto last aug. for that Daft Punk concert. Lets go Seed Boutique!

Yup, Canada is looking more and more like a safe haven these days, especially with the shcmucks that are running for president. And it's only a 45 minute drive to make it across the good ol' peace bridge ...

You must be joking. Do you seriously think that police have the time to sit around waiting for someone to place an order for a lighting setup to a non-marijuana related site? I love your grows billybob but seriously, here the term paranoia much?
