Starting a grow thats never gonna stop

A buddy and I are now caregivers and we are starting a grow that we hope will never stop. To get things started we are using a Mountain Mist and a Trainwreck that we cut clones from for our outdoor grow. These mothers pretty much got abandoned under a couple of Floros and forgot about. When we decided to start this grow obvoiously all we had was our newly purchased seeds and some broke down mothers. Right now we are trying our best to rescue these mothers and they are now 2 weeks along into flower. Keep in mind when you see the pictures that these plants were completely trashed when we decided to flower them. Now we are going to try to document the rest of the grow and what comes after. So here they are first the Mist then the Wreck. Never mind only Wreck pictures right now. Will update later.


The New Stuff
Here are the new starts that we will be using as mothers and some clones i took from the Wreck. First is Pure Afghani, second is Nevilles Haze, and third is THC Bomb. All are about three weeks old and are having a slight problem which I hope we will get solved soon.

Our Setup:
We will be using GH Maxi series nutes and also GH supplements (Diamond Nectar, Kool Bloom, Floralicious Grow, and Floralicious Bloom.) We are still working on our feeding schedual (feeling things out.) We will be using Fox Farms Ocean Forest mixed with Miracle Grow potting mix and some extra Perlite. The Mothers will be kept in a 2'x2'x4' box filled with Floros, fans and Mylar. Clones and Vegging plants will be kept in a 2'x4'x6' box with Floros, fans, and Mylar. Our Flowering room is not yet complete, but for now we are using a 5'x5'x7' closet with two 400w HPS lights, two occilating fans, and a small heater that only comes on if the temp drops below 68*F. The water we use is either distilled water (very seldom) or RO filtered water pH adjusted to 6.2 - 6.5. I am familiar with DWC and soon we hope to switch from dirt to hydro but that will be later. Well thats all i wanna type for now. So if you are interested in this grow at all keep checking in I will try to update every couple of weeks with new pics and info. Comments are welcome. And we will be adding more exotic strains soon as well.

Planted the clones, and since the Veg box isnt done yet, everything is jammed into the smaller mother box for now.

Picked up some cal-mag and diamond nectar today. Hopefully this will fix the problems I was having with my younger plants. But I just wanted to get some pictures of the Mist up. Again please remember that these plants were extremely damaged before we decided to flower them.

Trainwreck 3 weeks - big change in one week!

Well we got the younger plants under control now they just need to be re-potted. Decided to throw some seedlings in the flower room. Im kinda hooked on 12/12 from seed. Just a couple different bag seeds, a THC Bomb, and a couple week old Pure Afghani.

Finally got the clones transplanted and in the flowering room. 1 of the 2 THC Bomb turned female, lost the other one (male). One of the Pure Afghani was a male, still waiting on the other. And we are still waiting on both the Nevilles haze to show. The trainwreck is coming along nicely. Its now five weeks into flower.


We decided to ditch the MM, it sucked. But our flower room is full, we have two (for sure) mothers, and we are waiting on two more. I also have one of those Chemdog started, hopefully it turns out.

why do you throw the seedling right into flower? Do you leave them in there till they show sex then revert back for veg or let go all the way?

Im really into the whole 12/12 from seed. Its hard to get away from once you start. Mostly i threw them in there to fill in my schedule a little bit (which i am very behind on). Well one of the Nevilles turned Female for me
The Trainwreck is a hermie (we knew awhile ago but i never posted) hopefully the clones didnt pick up the trait, but im sure they did. Its got some spots that are pretty seedy but there are other spots with no seed at all. The smoke is great though. We quick dried a small bit and it got me pretty stoned. Ill put some more pictures up next week of EVERYTHING and more details as well.

As promised here are some pics. The Trainwreck will be 7 weeks tomorrow.


The 12/12 seedlings we put in the flower room turned out ok. We got two males, but they were the bag seed. The THC Bomb, Pure Afghani, and the K-13 (local strain) all ended up female. We're gonna keep the K and the PA as mothers for now.

Sorry this post isnt very detailed. I just did this whole post with tons of detail and I accidentally exited the browser and lost it all. Wasnt feeling very motivated to type after that.
