So how much longer do you think these ladies will be.
Also tried a small bud and no seeds found in that sample.
I do not see anything on the plant that looks like seed either.

There won't be any seeds unless you got them pollinated by a male.

I can tell you used Fluoro by the smaller fluffier buds that are growing, give it 2 more weeks to see if those buds don't get a bit bigger.

Thank you for the response. I had kinda thought maybe more time. But I wasn't sure. I had thought to give them another 4 weeks.
But I'll check back and post pics at 9 weeks.

Nah man u got some bud there. And i bet u learned alot from it. I would say go to home depot and get a 70 watt hps in the home security lighting isle! Set it up, its all the difference still even, I did see a couple red hairs in some of those pics but u are still prolly a couple weeks out , theres still time to fatten um up. Those fixtures run about 80 bux.

That may be but I'm no electrician.
And I'm not about to start to become one either.
I need something I can plug in ;)

I got a jolt one time in my life as a teen and swore to never try to deal with electricity again.

U cant put 2 wires together and twist some wire nuts? The wires dont even have to match color! and get a couple pieces of yarn to hang the fixture?

Well the buds are getting more leaf growth buttttt........

This thing is covered in Trichs...everywhere and it's pretty heavy so I'm wondering if I should start harvesting it now rather than later.
For whatever reason the other plant has a long ways to go in comparison and the leaves are totally different than the other also.

I am 8 weeks flowering.
Hmm also it has new bud growth on the bottom of the plant and it's not showing any change in pistil color but again the heavy powder. So I was thinking maybe just trim her down and take a bit at a time?

My camera is all messed up and I can't take a pic but I can maybe figure out how to post one with my phone ;) But that will have to wait until tomorrow.

That's all fine and dandy but don't you have to have a supply first like from an electrical source? I can't put wire to wire from say a ceiling or wall.

I need ones with prongs and ya just stick it in the wall. LOL

Damnit I would have to go back and reread fdd's harvesting post yet again.
Maybe I'll just test her out first....

Nah didnt mean it like that, it took me awhile 4 i started experimenting with lights to. All i was saying is that those particular fixtures can be hooked up with the cord to any standard cord to a lamp u have laying around the house. or u can get a cord at the same store for like 5 bux.Anyhow the 2 wires in question dont have any rhyme or reason and they can be crossed from black to white etc. all u need is t get those 2 wires togehter with a wire nut.Just look into it, its well worth the research.

Heres what u can expect in difference between hps and cfl. I started a thread as well on this but if peeps only knew there alternatives available in the same isle of the stores lol.

Alrighty then what about wires getting hot?
I don't want to burn my house down growing weed ;)
But I guess if your going to use say a lower voltage than that of a 400 watt hps well then I'm sure it wouldn't be so bad :)
I've seen the difference but I made a bargain not to grow again.
I'd love to try some more but I had clones that were done thinking maybe I had completely ruined my first grow and thought maybe I'd start over....
But they got thrown away. :(

No prob and smart man. (I tend to think I can do anything and suffer for it too)

So just buy a turn key light.

I will say, that if a small closet, don't look at the $100 HPS Those are usually batwing reflectors, so *zero* cooling. Save up and get a cooled hood with the glass and run the ducting with a fan. (thats easy, just duct tape and a plug)

I went for a 400W HPS, hood, ballast, ducting and fan. Probably (and overpriced a bit) for $450. But, think of how many Z's in $450. I can get 3 1Z per plants under a pair of 150W HPS.
Now on the first round with the 400W and looks 20-30% better but for 6 plants.
Whats that ROI?

Agreed. You've proven to yourself you can grow a plant. Any money you spend on better lighting will pay you back many times over. Get the best your budget will allow.
