I have been growing both Nirvanna ICE and AK48 for about a year now. Nivanna says that the AK48 will be ready for harvest in 8 weeks. And under the perfect conditions it will be ready in 48 days. This is not true. Especially on your first crop. The first crop will take about 10-11 weeks. If you run clones for the rest it 8-10 weeks. It is an Ok yielder. I did really good this last harvest. I allowed them to go about 12 extra days this time, for a total of almost 10 weeks, to have about 30% Amber trichs. With a 600 watt HPS I got 175 grams of the ICE and 138 grams of the AK48. The ICE is a much better smoke, smells better, and is smoother and better tasting. This is my last crop of the AK48, I am side lining it and going with 6 ICE this crop. I am going to get a new strain for when these 6 ICE plants are finished, so I can split to two different strains again.

im hoping i do well for my first grow i did alot of research on it prior to growing as long as 1 survives throughout this whole process which im hoping more than that lol but i will be happy and can take this new found experience and put forth to my next grow im really excited to see how it comes out i always used RIU for when i was doing my research lol it seemed as though every possible question ive had minus a couple i couldnt find but figured out there was some thread on RIU explaining and being helpful ive come to notice theres a lot of lets just say ignorant people who arent willing to put forth the effort to actually do the research take the time and look for your answer overall im happy with my outcome and im happy that right now 3/4 are thriving to be my first grow lol but thankyou guys i will post up more pics in about a week to see the progress and i will drop by this thread to say hi and update you guys

so in your opinions guys how do you feel about super cropping as opposed to topping? just curious i know ima do one or the other but which one generaly has better results not saying either or has better results but in your own experience what has worked best for you so i can take in this and weigh my options and decide

i didn't have so much luck with this strain but then again i only had 10 seeds out of the 8 that popped 5 were male :(
i ended up with 3 females 2 small indicas and 1 huge sativa that was very low yielding ..
the good side was they all tasted great, not bland at all they all had a rage of flavors coming through
the sativa pheno had a pineapple flavor very nice and both indicas had a complex range of fruity musky flavors

so i have decided i am going to try to super crop one plant top another and then leave one alone and see what my results are in the end as far as yielding, and it took my babies close to 2 days before they popped up through that soil. so does anyone have any suggestions for gnats? i tried neem oil with water and a lil dish soap all over my grow medium prior to planting in the grow room all over the house outside inside everywere, yet there still here i also have sticky traps hanging in there and i catch close to 5 every 5-6 hours and theres still a bunch i smash them with my fingers anything to fuck them up but there still coming.

hey everyone was just reading a forum that was talking about just cutting the main colas off the plant when ready to harvest and allowing the remaining buds on the lower region to continue to flower now imo i thought that when a plant is damaged it is going to produce more energy tyring to repair itself as opposed to creating more fruits right because cutting it open and allowing unwanted pathogens in there cant be safe but a few people said they did it and it worked great.

They just allow more light to get to the lower buds for a week or so to help ripen them.
