Starbucks Says Upcoming Price Increase 'Is in No Way Related to' Tuition Program

Starting next week Starbucks (SBUX) cafés will charge several cents more for certain drinks, and the price of Starbucks packaged coffee in supermarkets will go up about $1.

Company spokesman Zack Hutson said in an e-mail that “this pricing adjustment is in no way related to the education announcement we made earlier this week.”

Starbucks announced a new initiative on Sunday to help pay workers’ tuition at Arizona State University’s online program. ASU will provide scholarships for Starbucks workers in all years. Starbucks’s contribution applies only to third and fourth-year students whom the chain will reimburse for their out-of-pocket tuition costs after scholarships and other financial aid, reported the Chronicle of Higher Education.

Arizona State University’s online bachelor’s degree

That's worth a lot (sarcasm)
you still have to do the course work and it's fucking hard online..there's higher bar.

i started a course online at my school because it was an off day to my schedule (i didn't want to be there 5 days/week) i ended up dropping because it was a lot of work. ended up taking the same course in person next semester..best decision..didn't do shit except show up and got a "B".

many top florida schools now offer curriculum to full degrees online including UF.

UF? I went there. :) The City in the Country.

If you think online course work is easy, then you must be a savant typist.

I've got some credits with Univ. of Phoenix. I struggled for those 2 Bs and 1 A.

OK. Poof. I got him a car.

Here are the clues.

- when the blue sail aligns with black
- when the tide is out
- when the old pier shows
- 10 steps north
- is the next clue

:)
