Sta-Green soil reviews/Nut question

Anyone use sta-green soil, its said to feed plants up to 9 months, but MG says 3. When the soils say that does that mean you don't necessarily have to feed them nuts? I really dont want to have to deal with Nuts, im looking into either MG or sta green. Will the plants be quite small compared to those grown with nuts, or will the nuts in MG/sta green compinsate that?

The Sta-Green in the yellow bag works great. Cut 4 parts soil to 1 part coarse perlite. However you'll need to start feeding because there are almost no nutes in that soil. Not sure about any other Sta-Green types.
