Check this out! I dunno how this happened, but my fan leaves have developed growth tips which are forming new nodes right in the center of them! This is either a mutation, or my plant is just super healthy! @curious2garden @cannabineer @treemansbuds @Grandpapy @Indacouch CHECK THIS SHIT OUT!

Week 4 Day 4

Potted up the Sour Diesel. They are now both in 3 gallon pots. Fed them 1 teaspoon of Uprising Grow, Foundation, and Elemental. Watered in Buddha Grow, Trinity, and Amino Aid. Both of them are developing extra finger leaves in crazy places. Their stems are really thick. In any case, they are both incredibly healthy.

Pretty sure I’m seeing male preflowers forming on the Sour Diesel. I’m going to give it some time to see how they forn, though, before doing anything.

I might see a ballsack on the SR-71, which is alright if it’s male. I actually really want to breed that one to something anyway.

Edit: On closer inspection, it looks more like a female calyx. We shall see.

Pretty sure I’ve confirmed that SR-71 PK x Sour Diesel is a female. I have pictures of the female preflowers. I’m pretty sure the Sour Diesel is male. He is showing teardrop or spade-shaped growths at the shoulders of the nodes between the lateral branches and the stipules. I tried to get a good picture. Here they are.

I chose to flip to flower today, after 4 full weeks of veg. I’m only in 3g pots, after all. The Sour Diesel is actually throwing female preflowers. The SR-71 PK cross, I can’t really tell, but she’s probably near ready as well. So, Week 1 Day 1 Flower has begun as of today.

I changed the light cycle running 2200-1000hrs to running from 1800-0600hrs. That’s from 10pm-10am to 6pm-6am for those of you who aren’t trackin’. I’m not waiting until bedtime or just before running to my early morning classes. Fuck that shit, I want to be able to actually see them.

@Olive Drab Green i did the same thing. I work rotating shiftwork days and graveyards 6-6 so i put lights at like 8:30 to 8:30 so i can still see /do anything i need to do with them no matter what im working

Flower Week 1 Day 2

The SR-71 is starting to throw preflowers. I can’t tell what they are yet, although they look like they might be male. If so, I’m pretty excited, because this thing is getting bred. I hope the Kush structure and that dank, sour-diesel-earthy-zingy smell remains dominant, because wow! Just amazing. This thing deserves to have its lineage preserved!

I’ve only ever worked with a 250w HPS and a 400w HPS. I noticed that with HPS, plants didn’t stay squat with good node structure. Most got incredibly stretchy. Like, I have a friend I’m helping with seeds/cuts and stuff, and with his grow, because he isn’t as savvy with understanding the plant on a biophysiological/horticultural/botanical level, and he uses a 400w HPS despite the fact I loaned him two COBs. His plants get more than double the current height of my plants as they are now by the third week. They generally look stretchy, thin, and like the plant isn’t getting sufficient light. My cousin used a 250w, and as you’d expect, it did worse than 78w of COB.
