The coloring is a "root stimulator" and each has its own color I believe. Of course I bought the black and white mix which were colored. The 5 big bang fems i bought were not colored and the 3 gh shark and 3 alaskan ice fems were not not colored either. I'm no expert, just tried their gear a few times and had bad results.
