sprout question

i sprouted a seed for my friend who is more capable of growing plants. (will probably give the seedling to him after a week)

here is my setup, i was wondering if this would be sufficient for a week.

it's basically just a 23w cfl with a fan pointing at the lil one. it just sprouted today from a rapid rooter.

You wont need that fan, it will bend your plant over and could stunt it. Too much wind early on in life.

Other than that though, looks ok. Just dont let it dry out too much and make sure it doesnt get too close to your light. Remember, if its too close for your hand then its too close for the plant.

Good luck!

thanks for the reply. i think i'll just point the fan somewhere near, ambient temp is kinda warm here. the light is around 1.5-2 inches away from the sprout. its just 23w so it isn't that hot

I always try to place the side of the CFL over the plants not the end as you have it

when they are super young like yours, I keep the light about 2 inches away
