im currently fighting an infestation of thrips AND spider mites, ive used neem oil, pyrethrin, spinosad and mighty wash and it seems to be heling a little but some plants are still getting worse, the buds don't have webs on them but some leaves do and im starting to see eggs in the buds as well on one of them... and unfortunately im going out of town for a couple weeks and leaving a family member to take care of them while I gone but im leaving her in a very bad position, I just got done with doing my first spray with mighty wash and I was wondering if after that had dried if I could go back over it with spinosad? since I wont be able to do so again for a long time. I trust who im leaving to spray the mighty wash since that can go on buds, but not so much the spinosad since ive heard its bad for that to make contact with buds, I also have been physically removing eggs and mites with my fingers or paper towels and have instructed her to do the same

Sounds exactly like my last grow. I left 4 plants with my wife for almost a month as I had to travel for work, and they had an infestation that had been ongoing. I also used mighty wash and instructed her how to care. They were just a few weeks from harvest too, so I was freeeeeeeeeeeeeking out.

I saw no harm with numerous sprays. I did a heavy one before the lights went out, then I would open the room 30mins before lights on to give a light spray to the ones with heavy infestation - she continued that with success. Only problem we had was she is much shorter than I and the plants were almost 5' tall so she had trouble managing the tops as she could not see and didn't know if it was okay to bend or move the plants that much. as long as your family member is comfortable handling them, spray away with Mighty Wash. My Sour D and Tangerine Kush were totally unharmed and tasted great!

how bad was your mite infestation? I feel like mines really bad. honestly this last year has just been a horrible year for my indoor and outdoor grow, I had a successful first grow like 2 years ago now it seems like every harvest I just face more and more problems... its getting really depressing

can u post a pic?

my last grow was 4 mature plants given to me by a friend, when he had to move out of state due to a family emergency. He lived in a pretty dirty place with two big dogs that were outside a lot and brought a lot of shit inside. They were pretty bad when I trimmed em down and examined them. Id say at least 1/2 the plant (which was around 3ft when I got it) had mites. By the time I harvested they were only in small isolated spots.
