spotting hermaphrodites

before I begin let me start by saying I know their are hundreds of threads about hermaphrodites...surprisingly enough none of them help. I have had several successful crops before and now it seems one of my mothers is genetically hermaphrodite. Every time I put these two types together one or both of them slowly start withering pistils from the bottom up. This time the one strain seems to be taking a significant lead in the withering department. So I have manya questions related to this most stressful situation. First just to make sure, it is possible to have a genetically hermo mother right? 2nd is it not possible to do any trimming in flowering cycle? (perhaps I am stressing them all to hermo by trimming). 3rd Is it possible to keep hermos in the same room as females and just keep taking the early ball sacks off? I seriously doubt I am stressing such a large amount (13/30 so far) of girls into hermo...so I must have a hermo mother right? Anyways thanks again for taking the time to read this...if any admin can find a thread with the answer to all these questions u win an award from me.

try a product called "REVERSE" from DM I think...it kills the male flowers and no seeds result...Hermies are an issue no more...BTW, use the penetrator too to be sure...

well, a clone is genetically identical in every way to the mother you take it from. so, if the mother is a hermaphrodite, all of the clones you take from it will be too.

hermies can be caused by stress(heat/cold, dark cycle interrupted, etc..)...it is also possible that a stress hermie will be normal sex in a subsiquent generation...I regenerate and have seen 1st gens as hermies and then normal in 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc...Also, I have seen normal female in 1st gen go hermie in 2nd gen(stress of regeneration, I assumed)...This is why I use "REVERSE" from Dutch Masters...spraying the plant when it 1st goes into flower and again in week 2(day 7) and 3(day 21)...NO MORE HERMIE :weed:SEEDS !!!

I heard of it at overgrow a few years ago (It was called Dutch Feminizer at that time)...I tried it on my 1st hermies(caused by heat stress) and have not had unwanted seeds since...Lots of folks use it...I even got it locally...I used the higher concentration on the bottle and also used the penetrator...

hell yeah next time i go to the store Im copin' like 10 gallons of that juice. I have one more hermaphrodite question for all you experts out there. Im trying to figure out which of my 2 genetics is the hermaphrodite. I have 1/2 and 1/2 taking up a 30 site system. Both of them just slowly start to wither at the preflower node site and this is at the 3 week mark. Is it possible that Iam mistaking preflower withering for color changing pistils due to maturity? Also isnt it strange that I never see any ballsacks develop previous to the pistil withering? Does the withering from bottom up occur before ballsack development in hermaphrodites? Thanks you folks r a great help. -chief

So you use the reverse during the first, second week of flowering before you know if it is a hermie, male, or female?
Or do you use the reverse when you realize it is a hermie?
