so heres one of my autos.....blueberry to be exact. All the other autos are doing pretty good but this one recently got spots and looks a little floppy. I treat all my girls the same....water with a few drops around the stem once a day and on a 18/6 schedule under cfl. I think i MGHT have gotten one of the lights a little close but it was not touching and it has a fan blowing on it during that time so it wouldnt get too hot......are the soots light bleaching or nute burn of something else?

thanks!

Looks like maybe a bit too much water. Stop watering daily, at that size they should be able to go 3+ days minimum.

im literally giving like a few drops dribbled at the bottom of the stem. I didnt think it could be over watering but im new to this. What about the sagging leaves.....always thought that was a sign of needing water, or?

Sagging leaves can often be a sign of too much water. If the soil is more than slightly damp feeling, you are likely overwatering. If you got water on the leaves, then put the light too close, that would explain the dots.

im not watering the soil as a general rule.....just where the plant is in the middle......could that be a problem too? i figured for a plant so small it would just be a waste pouring water over the entire surface of the exppsed dirt...... should i change that? the medium is biobizz all mix straight from the bag

Welcome to RIU, and the wonderful world of cultivating the world's most misunderstood and feared medicines!!!

The only 'advice' I can give you or anyone is to read and learn and then apply what you have read and learned to your garden and you cannot fail. Anyways, remember the search tool is your friend...Lots of folks here willing to help a new farmer get up and growing. But at the end of the day your grow will be only as good as the knowledge and work you put into it.

It is always great to ask questions but do not take anyone's advice or opinions and follow blindly. Do your own research, you will be much happier knowing you have done it for yourself and by yourself. The first buzz you get from your own budz...is by far the BEST high you will ever have!

I am not at all familiar with the medium you are using...BUT, I water my seedlings pretty much the same way except I use about a shot glass full every 3rd day...keeps the roots stretching for moisture IMHO. Anyway...my thought is heat stress. And as was previously mentioned water droplets on the leafs will cause spotting.

Good Luck and Great Growz!

I'm at day 9 and I had the same as you. I think I over watered at first. It was suggested to let them dry out almost completely and then soak them and repeat. Lift the pot to check if it's light. If so water.

Iv only grown 2 outdoor plants 10 years ago but I remember it was pretty easy to see when the plants were thirsty...
Just don't water them untill they look thirsty.. Then you will get to know the signs :)). (In soil, outdoors)

I say let it completely dry, Water the entire pot to first signs of runoff, then LEAVE it. till it completely drys again. You can spritz the leaves once a day if it'll make you feel better :P

so strange but i watered it before i posted this and a couple hours later the leaves werent sagging anymore. Maybe the spots were from too close a light and or water drops on the leaves which magnified the light and bleached the leaves. In any case right now she seems to be doing ok. athanks for the help!
