Hey guys, I'm 8 days into my first grow and am running into a bit of a problem:
I'm growing in DWC under a 400W light, using the Lucas formula w/ RO water. 8 days ago when I put the clone (in a 1.5" rockwool cube) into the hydroton I filled up the rez using the same ratio as the Lucas formula and set it to 0.7 EC. The PH has been swinging between 5.5 and 6.2 about once every 2 days. Once I set it to 5.2 by accident instead of 5.5.
When topfeeding the leaves may have been splashed with some of the nutrient solution, I stopped topfeeding when I saw roots. Roots and new veg growth seems to be still occurring.
The yellowing seemed to happen on the newest growth first instead of the lower leaves. Leaf tips on the new leaves seem to be curling up slightly, not sure if they're just reaching for light though.. the older growth's leaf tips were cut off so it would focus energy on root production.
It's been suggested that this may be underfeeding, does this look right? I'm doing a res change tonight so I can bump up the nutes as needed, was thinking about full strength lucas if this is a underfeeding issue.
