Spots and time to top w/light burn

So I believe the 110v150w red bulb was a heat lamp after all I'm a rookie dont laugh anyways I need to start a light/dark schedule and stay on it while in veg. My dumbA$$ self was leaving the 5 gallon bucket in the sun all day and then in the evening putting in my 8x8 shelter under that red heat bulb‍♂ so whatcha guys think 12/12 ....18/6? The yellow/brown Spots on fan leaves(only acouple) is light burn maybe? And last I should be able to go ahead and top?

Wait until you get 6 nodes (you are currently at 3) and then top just above the third node and remove the shoots (not the leaves) below the third node.
@TreeFarmerCharlie thanks for the input. I was just counting the fan leaves and not the actual nodes but I'm learning slowly! What about a 500w T3 light? Too bright for 1 plant? I just germinated 4 more in some more peat pellets. To give it more than 12 hours of sunlight should I put it under a light for acouple hours after the sun goes down then total darkness with a nice fan for air flow?

You don't even need that much. I was watching a video awhile back about an outdoor grow op along the equator and all they do to keep them in veg is run fluorescent lamps on each plant during the night.

So the 500w t3 is too much? I was just asking because I already have one and when these other seeds are ready I'm going to use better soil and use the 500w on 3/4 plants or maybe I'm just better off with fluorescent lamps @TreeFarmerCharlie can you use me which wattage or is it available for me to read on growweedeasy?

No, it’s definitely not too much, I’m just saying you could go with lower intensity lighting if you want to.
