I had reoccurring mites. I have a mother room and a clone room with doors inches apart. I put an entrance mat between the doors and fog it with Lost coast plant therapy twice day so anytime I have to go between rooms my slippers get treated with it and I do it again if it drys out. This has not been an issue since these mats are built to absorb liquid and dry backout quickly with a nice solid rubber backing. I take off my shoes and wear these slippers only when I work in these spaces so my outdoor shoes never get in either room. All this precaution because I had reoccurring infestations as well and could never identify the source. I finally got rid of the spider mites when I bought a fogger. I use it nightly, just after the lights go off and the plants still are in the 80° range so it dries out quickly and takes any eggs and mites with it, even in the darkest corners and cracks. I could not get rid of them all the way for months no matter what I did until I got a decent fogger and spray every night. My plants are happy and vigorous with the Only side effect of sparkling leaves from the peppermint oil in the formula. I have never figured out where they got in but I am doing my best to keep then out.
