Spidermites/41 days flowering/Azamax Pic

Damn didn't see the bugs subforum but anyways repost from MJ Plant thread since it has to do with bugs...

nice plant greenbuddha, i am just under 7 weeks and about finished with my blueberry. i had to spray it the other day.(aza) i sprayed the bud also. but i m going to store shortly and get no pest strips. they say it will drive em off. hopefully wont have to spray again. good luck gettin rid of them little bastards.

Thanks for the info Hammer. Did you notice any residue or lose of trichs? I have never had to spray my plants in flower before. Have you had to do this in the past...just wondering if it will effect taste etc.?

I've sprayed buds with azamax pretty late into flower with no noticeable effect to the bud. You want to be careful around the larger colas though as getting them wet promotes bud rot and mildew.

Generally I find that spider mites prefer to stay away from trichomes so if you don't see them on the buds you might want to just hit the leaves.

my freind used an organic spray and it worked well (cant remember the brand name) it didnt really affect the taste and it didnt make it harsh.

hey green buddha, no i didnt notice any loss. i sprayed the leaves and barely hit the colas. i did last year and didnt notice any harshness. i actually cut some of the bottom popcorn buds and they tasted a little diff but theyare not finished yet. hopefully soon started watering w/just water.

Thanks again Hammer for the info. I'm going to spray tonight and probably just try and avoid most of the flowers. I don't think the mites were that bad and I cut off most of the areas where I saw damage, only seen like 3 mites, and no webs or anything. I'm hoping I cut-off the areas where they might have layed eggs but the Azamax is good for 7-10 days and I was going to spray with some pyrethrium oil (if thats how u spell it) in another week.

Fucking mites. I used a product called mite rid. It kills them on contact. I highly recommend it. 420 magazine's #1 recommendation for getting rid of those bastards and can't say enough good things about it. I spray my veg room several times a month for prevention. mite-rid.com

i caught mine early also. thank goodness, although its easy when u send a lot of time watching for bad shit to happen with em. lol i havent seen 1 since i sprayed hopefully its gonna warm up again so i can get everything outside and spray again and bomb the rooms. then a complete wash n vac keep up the good fight greenbuddah

I used Azamax last winter. I was battling thrips and rotated Neem oil, Safer Insecticidal Soap, Azamax and Conserve. I use each product for 3 applications, 7 days apart.

I had already used Neem and Safer with limited success. The Azamax did a great job of getting rid of 95% of the bugs. (I actually saw a couple of spider mites at the height of my infestation) Conserve put the nail in the coffin.

Azamax only slowed down flowering very slightly. It is among the best products in that respect according to studies I have read. Conserve also is good to use during blooming, but it is a newer product so I saved it for last.

The closest to harvest I sprayed was 11 days. I flushed for 7 days and cured for 28. I could not taste anything in the smoke.

You should not have to soak plants on top and bottom. Just a good solid wetting
will do. It is a systemic product and will not kill on contact in most cases. It takes time.

i was at about 35% infestation. i used mighty wash. mighty wash = win. going on 10 days, not one of them bastards left. It
is a ready-to-use proprietary formula. It may be used throughout the grow and flower cycle. i kid you not, it hecka works.

Instructions: All washes are contact sprays that are ready to use out of the bottle (do not dilute). At the first sign of problem spray plants leaves, fruits and flowers until complete saturation is achieved. If necessary spray at three day intervals.

I work as a grower for a local dispencery and when I started I had a massive mite infestation. I rotate 7 different insectisides every 4 days. I have managed to control them but not eliminate. any idea where these super mites might come from and any tips on keeping them from traveling through my five rooms, and also how to avoid bringing my work home with me. My home garden is CLEAN!!! I wanna keep it that way.
