Do not use anything "oil" based in flowering, it will greatly hurt your buds, production, and overall health of the plants. Things listed above won't totally remove the mites, but will help some. Hot peppers are just about the worse thing to use, as they impart a "hot" and spicey taste to the buds and won't kill off most of the mites, and will burn your throat some.

This is what I use, once a crop, around the 1st week of flowering before buds develop. I think it's the most long lasting and effective spray. Easy to apply to tops of leaves and it transmits to underneath and kills for about 40 days or so, deep into flowering.

Mighty Wash blows too, as does many of the other "citrus" based products available.

Forbid 4F Ornamental Insecticide/Miticide 45.2% Spiromesifen

Forbid 4 F offers outstanding knockdown and residual control of mites and all stages of whiteflies for four to eight weeks. Thanks to its novel mode of action, foliar-applied Forbid 4 F offers growers an effective tool for management of mites resistant to conventional products.

Kills pests at stages other products can’t control

  • Controls all stages – eggs, nymphs, immobile nymphs and adults
  • Long residual – up to 45 days
  • Controls pests resistant to other products
  • Flexible application window
  • Excellent translaminar activity for easier coverage
  • Minimal effects on beneficial insects when used according to label directions

Ok I'm going to try get hold of some in the morning an how would you apply try get every leaf an the under side it's so hard to get 100% everywhere
You just gotta be more persistent than the pest. I also at times use an atomist , I don't like it as much as the paint sprayer because it's so harsh, it blows harder than buck but it does turn over leaves very well. Coverage or go toxic systemic while you can. Just know the toxic systemic and how long it will take to be out of the plants system.

And maintenance too I might add, spray that shit even if you look and find nothing, although it's pretty pricey as maintenance but your other options are to go like @SSHZ says up above, that word "ornamental" though. you may lose your organic status if you maintain one.

i am sorry to say, you wont kill them with soaps and oils,,, you may push them back,, but they will survive, and they will carry on ,, you will also be putting so much moisture into your buds, your risk of rot goes way up,
can you make it to harvest,, sure its possible, but its going to be a wild ride,
most people chop them down so far into flower and do a real cleaning job, and set off some bug bombs in the area before growing again,,
i wont talk about the nuclear options since you dont want to go that path
good luck ,, mites really suck, i have had them 2 times in the past
Good advice. Chop & wash the plants. I've done it & it works out fine. Hang some hot shots in the grow area w/ minimal air circulation. The vapor will penetrate every nook & cranny. Fantastic! You can leave the hot shots during veg, but get em out of there when you flip to 12/12.

I used the Organibliss with the hot shot and gone in one week, but I treated for three more just to prevent, and they never came back. I tried avid, mighty wash and they always came back, maybe I am missing something but, I know what I did and it only took one week and I seen none, it has been months now without a sign of any pests period, It is pricey but what are you willing to pay to kill and get rid of them.

Not sure about you guys but mighty wash is the only thing ive used that completly stopped my redmite/two spotted infestation both times with just 1 treatment webbed up and all. Been through the whole pepper/soap/neem thing and ill tell you straight up if you go this way, you will still need to clean EVERYTHING including your house/grow and everything near the grow and its hvac with bleach or they will be back a few months later

If you scope the mite while spraying mighty wash you will see its an IMMIDIATE contact killer and for some reason the same mites wont go back in that room . If it doesnt kill on contact then you have a fucked up species of mite OR possibly a fucked up bottle of mighty wash idk...

Nope, just let them finish naturally.
On the bright side, I have found that insect attack actually improves quality. Less quantity but sticky as hell.

Mighty Wash is the go too in after buds begin to form...

Before that = FORBID 4F! Light misting to the tops of the leaves on the whole plant and mites are BOOM-DEAD!
NOT systemic, and Safe to use!

Ebay for affordable amounts. Avoid AVID and FLORAMITE !
