spider mites

I put mine in my backyard shed, far from my house, and bring it in as i need it. I dont like the headache. I imagine if that headache chemical is surrounding your buds 24/7, some will soak in. I'd remove it, and bring it in only as needed. Maybe bring it in for 1 night a week, just to be sure you keep mites in check. I'd also remove it for a day at least before harvest.
yeah I will leave it in one more night then bag it back up.
If u can keep ur humidity down then spray your buds with lights off. If ur pests strips work then good. When you dry your bud keep a small light like a T5 far higher than the dry. The mites cannot live in dead bud completely. They will go to the heat source. Wipe the light once a day. I wouldn't keep the light on all the time since u r supposed to dry in the dark.
For the dead plant. Don't even dry it. Cut the bud off and freeze it all. Make hash and if you are on a budget them look up blender hash. If u don't want to then just dry and smoke it, up to u.
If u are at 7 weeks and not dank smell or kush or whatever just grass, then u did something Wrong. Might get u high still but it's a learning experience to get the most out of the plant.
Good luck and prevetative maintainence next time!
I did so much wrong and very little knowledge, but next time I expect great things.

I caught a strain that seemed to build up a resistance to it, they were bigger than the ones I've had before. I had to switch to Safers Soap from then on.
I think I am gonna not start anymore plants till after harvest and spray the strongest shit in my house and shed and bomb it and just go crazy!! Then buy my clones from Oaksterdam, and use the normal precautions after that.

a lot of these mites are still alive. I had fans off for another 12 hrs with the no pest strip. more plants are looking really bad now too! weed smell is almost non-existent now.

I am running out to get a "Hot Shot No Pest strip" tomarrow! This sounds like the best and simplest solution so far! Thanks!

Glad to hear the pest strips are working.... I don't know that I would use Azamax that late into flowering anyways. Maybe in soil but not as foliar. Some people might say differently but I'm not big on a foliar spray that late into flowering. I hope it works out for you.

Go to Menards, and get something called "Hot Shot No Pest strips" Its a strip that emits a poisonous vapor that kills the shit out of spider mites! Seriously, i put one next to a really infested red pepper plant one time, and turned off all fans, and within 20 minutes, most of them were dead or dying. Within a few hours, all were dead. If you put it in there for a day, then for another day, 2-3 days later, it should kill every last one. Or you could leave it in there for a week, to be sure.

You can also run a vacuum over the buds, which removes webbing, mites, and eggs. If you use vacuum and no pest strip, you will not see them again.

wow i tried my shop vac and it worked pretty good.just be very careful. i used my hand and fluffed the leaves and didnt get the nozzle to close. i didnt mention it cause i thought someone would give me hell for it lmao good luck and be careful

I looked up that hot shot no pest strip and i see nothing good about it. yeah it kills bugs, but it can also kill you. Not sure how credible that is but i read that more then once. Even in its advertising it says to keep it away from pets and humans.
