Spider mites

I'm almost on week 7 and found 2 webs on my tops today so freaking ticked. Going to be using a 1:6 iso:water ratio... thinking about starting my own praying mantis freaking colony I hate these things so much. They just WONT DIE. be growing for 10 plus years and never had an issue with them this bad. In veg I have and have been able to use diamacetous earth, but I don't want to use that in flower and get in on the buds. So iso every night right before or after lights out it is. Ugh I hope these ladies don't go ten weeks lol

In flowering I have found ladybugs to be very useful.

Yeah. I use eBay. The one year I didn’t get any ladybugs I had spider mites in flower. It was a pain. I just kept rinsing the buds before harvesting and one last time with h202 before hanging to dry. Knocked off a lot of trichs. Sucks man.
So question for you... how do you keep the 1000 lady bugs JUST in the grow space? Or do I just deal with having lady bugs all over lol

Lol they leave looking for food after all the spider mites are gone. If you’re indoors I would suggest purchasing green lacewing eggs every 3-4 weeks. More effective because larvae l can’t fly away. Ladybugs also like to fly into the light indoors.

I am using cobs with no covers...you think the lady bugs might actually be able to damage the surfaces?

I don’t think so. They’ll just fly into the light rendering them useless lol. I would opt for the green lacewing eggs/larvae. You can get them from eBay also. They’re called aphid lions, but they’ll grub on spider mites just the same..
Ordered up 1000 eggs hopefully they will come out in time to help, I will continue with my iso and water regiment for now. Fingers crossed!

Put out little trays of water and raisins for them. You want them to establish and breed. Their kids will eat aphids and spider mites.

Some adults will kamikaze into the lights, shit happens.

I ordered some green lacewing eggs for now. I'll get some of these guys too, hell why not a mantis or two while im at it! Get a whole herd of these predators! Guessing the mantis would.start taking out the lady bugs though lol
