Spider Mites.... please help

i started my plant thinking i would just have it for fun but it became my hobby. i went from planting it in a single cup all the way up to a five gallon storage box.
everything has been going relatively right but i noticed something the day after i repotted it.

there is sporadic white dots, speckles, on some of my leaves. ranging from the oldest leaves to the undergrowth all the way up to the newest leaf set. it has gotten progressively worse but it still is not all that bad. i am definitely catching it early. i know theyre spider mites.

my question is: what is the easiest, quickest, cheapest way to get rid of these things. i dont want all my hard work to be ruined. please help

go to your local grow shop and get a bottle of pest off. About a tenner put it in a mist/spray bottle and the fuckers will just die there and then

how much is that? is it available at ace, lowes, home depot, etc?

Floramite, 3ml/gal. You can get it at any hydro store

floramite is gud but if you really want to get serious get sum avid. it will kill everything but your plants

Put it in with you plant for a few days and it will kill all of you spider mites, keep it in a week and any eggs will die when they try to hatch.

They suck ass huh! I had to put 3 of my plants outside cuz they got them bad..my buddy told me about rubbing each leaf n helps a bit but yea gets urself sum spray

Whatever you use, apply it with a pump sprayer that has a wand so you can get into every nook and cranny. The smallest are around $8 but well worth it if you have to spray up under the leaves.

I use PV+ or Plant Vitality + for spider mites stops em dead its brilliant stuff, would never use it in flower tho.

I agree but I always try floramite first. Avid is soooooooooo bad. Neither are for plants that are that far in flower.

If you use FORBID you don't have to worry as much about getting under the leaves.. It will travel to the underside... It is always good to use a few of them.... I use forbid, avide, flora,ite and maverick

ive just used that plant vitallity aswell mouse! great stuff killed them the first spray! also kills the eggs, ive since give it a second spray just incase though and plan on one more in a weeks time.

I've heard avid is pretty killer. A few years back on my 2nd or 3rd grow I had a run in with spidermites, I treated the room with a chrysanthemum (spelling?) bomb. Killed everything that was alive. This was early in veg, so I was able to wash my plants down and by the time it's was ready to come down there was no problem. As far as I know it's safe for humans and pets as long as you let it air out after, but insects die instantly. Don't Rec this if your flowering but it worked for me. Never had an issue after this (knock on wood). Good luck mites can be a pia. Mine came from junk MG soil from lowes. After the bomb I switched to promix and never went back.

ill let my plant die before i spend that much money on a pesticide... is there is cheaper way? such as things i can use around the house or under $20. how well do the no pest strips work?

Neem oil stops them from breeding but it is more of a preventative measure than a full on cure. You can also add neem cake to the soil for future protection if you dont want to have to worry about this in future grows.

You can wash them off with soapy water and I dont care what people say about manual removal being not possible, it is it takes hours and hours and hours but it is possible.

yes neem is good, i mix a teaspoon of it with half a teaspoon of emulsifier (dish soap will do) mix them together, then mix with a litre of warm water, allow it to cool before you spray, and shake it well as well. the cheapest place to buy it is from Asian shops (indian or pakistani) no pest strips work as well if you are desperate, but they are nasty things. and can cause cancer or something?, you may never get rid 100% but if you spray with neem every few days you can keep on top of them and so they are not a problem

No-Pest Strips work 100% all the time !

They do not cause cancer, etc. read up on it.

They feed it to to livestock to kill bugs in there stomachs. They could not feed enough to lab rats to kill them. It's on all dog collars that work. There is only 80mg of the active ingredient and it is encased in plastic. So you would have to break open the container to eat it.

Just don't put one under your pillow.

This seems to work for me but please read the warnings, These things put off gas that is not really good to be around for extended periods of time.
I also had some good luck with azatrol which is a all natural product.
