I just found some spider mites on my lower leaves a few days ago. I am 3 weeks into flowering and I have never dealt with a pest problem before although I have done some research I still have no hands on experience with them.
I am reasarching on several products in the market that you can apply durring flowering. I am leaning towards SMC, Fox Farm Dont Bug Me, Pyrethrum bombs and liquid lady bug. I would also like to put maybe like 500 ladybugs. I have also read about HotShot pest strips but ppl have different input about this product durring flowering and overall. Would it be safe to put one of these in my tent this far into flowering?? Should I put the lady bugs before of after applying the pesticide products??
I am running 2 x 1000 HPS cooltubes with a Phresh filter and a ecoline 6 inch inlne fan supreme in a 10 x 5 growlab. I am also cooling the room with an LG 9,000 BTU portable AC. Thanks to my AC the problem has not become so serious due to the cold temps it takes longer for mites to develope and lay eggs. I know this is a fact because my plants in veg are becoming infested by the mites due to the higher temps my plants in flowering dont really have to many but my bottom leaves are starting to die and have those littles specs on them due tro these f**kers damaging my plant cells sucking em dry.
Please help me out b4 they take over my garden. I wanna hear from ppl with past experience. Thanks in advance.
