I went to war on the mites that had infested my eight Banana OG 3-week clones. They all had webs, eggs and plenty of little mites. I washed them off with water in the sink using the sprayer, then dipped an electric toothbrush in a neem oil based lead wash and thoroughly scrubbed the undersides of the leaves, stalks, and leaf tops. Then I rinsed them off with water and soaked them in the leaf wash fluid. After letting them dry I inspected each plant and hit them again with the toothbrush. There were not many eggs left but there were some pockets. I repeated this process a few times and the mites were gone. It is a long vigilant slog but if you take the time you can get rid of the pesky bugs. Here is a photo of a seriously infested plant that I brought back to life.
