This dehumidifier sucks, no way around it. My 5x4 tent has lower humidity just running the intake fan. 70% ambient RH. 68% RH with the dehumidifier, 65%RH with intake running. Never buying from spider farmer again.
 
Well, anyways... I'll keep you guys posted. I'll be using a smart plug that I can control via WiFi. Hoping it works out. If not I'll have to figure something out. I'll chime in this weekend

I wouldn’t go with this unit if you already have return it. Go with a brand that only designs and manufactures dehumidifiers. You’ll have much better performance, less headaches.

I haven't received it yet, I'm on Amazon Prime so returning it wouldn't be a problem. Any suggestions that meet or beat this unit?
 
And .. just in. We'll give it a proper 24 hour rest period. It was shipped upside down ..lol, dam Amazon. Don't want this compressor engine to malfunction turning it on too soon. Believe the same rules apply for any compressor type units, like wine coolers and refrigerators. So till tomorrow evening.
