No prob! I've learned a good chunk of what I know about growing from this site, so it's nice to give a little back.

It's harvest day!!!! Took 9 weeks exactly.

Checked the trichomes this morning, and they are at between 10% and 20% amber. Keep an eye out for pictures this evening.

Some beautiful fall colors are showing. Some calyxes are starting to turn a little lavender, some sugar sugar leaves are almost pinkish, and some leaves are turning a deep, dark red/maroon... Mmm... I have still been finding the random nanner, but I don't think they wrecked the crop. Plant 4 is doing some odd bud stretching, which I'll show later when I take pics.

CAnt wait to see these pics, Hope you post a bunch. You making hash with the trim? Do you think the autumn colors will effect the hash color? Was that a stupid question? Im heavily medicated :dunce:

Well... So far I have trimmed Plant 3 and Plant 4, and I gotta say I'm pretty dissapointed... It was a serious larf jungle in there, complete with nanners. The tops look nice and smell great, but the yield of decent sized nugs was just shy of piss poor. I checked the root balls, and they were very root bound.

Here are a few shots of Plant 3 nugs. Notice the nanner in the sideways pic. I didn't take any new pictures of Plant 4, because I was uninspired. I think this is going to be my smallest yield to date, but it IS very frosty. Luckily I still have some meds stockpiled from previous harvests.

Live and learn....

Theorize with me as to why you would have had the nanners? Is it just genetic? How might have you done it? What lights were you using? This makes me sad.

I'm going to have to agree with Nugbuckets on this one. After I chopped, I checked the root balls and discovered they were all very root bound. This is stressful, and stress can cause nanners. I fully underestimated hiw vigorously these ones would grow. It was also my first run with super soil, and first run in pots bigger than 5 gallon. It'll take a run or two to get this method dialed in.

Huh... So far I've found sacks on the three I've trimmed. I'm guessing tthe last one will have them, too. Hope I have better luck with the Cheese Quake. Seen some pretty pictures anyway...

Man... Looking at these Pandora's Box buds hanging this morning was a sad, sad experience. All but the very top buds are drying down REALLY loose and larfy... Gonna be a very sad yield.

What's up nerds?

I just wanted to revisit this thread real quick to give my final thoughts on Pandora's Box. Despite the herm
problems (and resulting seeds) and larfiness of the buds, this is some SERIOUS mood and motivation lifting medicine. It's definitely the speediest herb I've ever had. A few puffs and my heart rate increases and I start getting a little restless, not in a bad way, mind you, more a rush of happy "get-up-and-go", if that makes sense. Time to get off the couch and DO SOMETHING!

It made some TASTY full melt bubble hash that packs a SERIOUS sativa punch to the dome. The full melt was made using fresh (frozen) trim following Sub's tutorial. Even the hash made from the dry trim melts and bubbles (although not FULl melt...).

I wouldn't be above running Pandoras Box again, but if I do, it will be from a clone of a KNOWN good phenotype, if I am lucky enough to come across one.

That's all for now.

Happy Thursday everyone.
