I agree often times the fan leaves are taking away the light that a potential flower could be using, I strongly recommend tying them down as suppose to cutting them. I am lazy and most time I dont bother with ropes, I just bring the flower above the fan leaf and try to make it hold in place using leaves and branches...

haha well I am growing mostly because I love plants, I grow Japanese Maple Bonsai Trees too, so, that is why I use LEDs etc instead of the proved HID god like lighting.

I work in Seattle so its easy peasy, and also when my tax return comes in...HELLOO IRS HURRY UP... I am going to have a proper shopping spree!
 
Cheapest I've got in so cal is $40 for a split 1/4 of SLH and train wreck. They weren't top shelf, but still really good. I find if I go into a shop and ask them instead of using the menu they will quickly point you to the best deal ATM.
 
soon enough man. the reason I have faith in federal legalization is... MONEY. Eventually it will be realized that more money can be put in the pockets of the greedy buggers in charge by legalizing it, than by taking "campaign donations" from "interested parties" to keep it illegal. Shit if only pfizer, Phillip Morris et al could realize that even THEY could make more money if it was legal, we would all be better off.
 
I bet the same people lobbying against it are getting done at the office, hitting the bar restroom to hoover up a few grams of coke, drinking 5 martini's and then driving home to beat up thier significant others.

That's exactly what scares me about legalization is the control that will comes with it. When the powers that be realize that the time is right I fear that we will give up certain rights in exchange for "legalization". If I can't grow it legally, its not "legal". If I have to buy a permit to grow it, its not "legal". If I have to register my name with the state to grow it, its not "legal". I would almost be more in support of decriminalization as opposed to legalization. I don't want the government to open cultivation up to big business and cut the small local farmers right out of the economic cycle. That is one advantage to medical states, that small farmers are providing a service and product at a fair price. The money stays in the local community, as opposed to getting plugged into the system for the government to get their greedy dirty mitts all over it.

quite, and I fully agree. unfortunately the age we live in, it seems that the generations of people who live through that period of change will see the worst side of legalization. but for the people of future generations, they would benefit from our period of pseudo-legal pot smoking. I mean if you think about it, you cant 'legally' distill your own liquor in some states (ie the one I live in, Washington). But liquor is still legal here, and I dont think anyone is getting busted for making personal moonshine. So we might just have to suck it up and live through the initial period of "it's legal but we dont f*cking like it" just so our sons and daughters can have a more legal situation. Regarding Big Business... big business/organized crime... whats the difference?

I dont know, I just am happy to see that there is a shift of thinking, on a larger scale, towards a rational attitude towards cannabis. Even if there are teething problems along the way, there always are.
 
^^^^^all great points....But I highly doubt PA will legalize anytime soon...Our supposed "legal" liquor as Shwag would say, Is only available at State Stores...
Yeah that's right I can't buy liquor/beer at the supermarket/gas-station/etc........And the state almost racked up 1 billion in sales in 2011..we are the country's number one liquor buyer(yohoooooo).....

Rant over............oh and you can carry up to an ounce in "killadelphia/filthadelphia" and falls under a misdemeanor(fine-300)..........not to bad..ha
 
yea not bad at all, when possession is thought of in the same fashion as jay walking. Washington had the same scenario with liquor sales until just last year it was voted that anyone can obtain a liquor licence. I have no doubt though that along with that will be a hefty hike in liquor taxes to compensate.
