Spectra is here!

I almost kissed the Fedex guy. So I got my 100w spectra. I am now going to add it to my 240w Blackstar and finish up the last 3 weeks of flower running both on one plant 4sq feet. Pics as soon as I clean up!

Lol no power cord. Even though I emailed Mike (the guy at growled) before buying it and he confirmed to me that it came with power cords. I read some shady reviews on ebay about him sending items without them. So when he assured me that they came with I thought shit yea Ill buy that! Alas! So heres the negative customer service review about GrowLEDHydro. They lie to you straight up. At least Blackstar went to the trouble of coming up with a fake contest. At least Blackstar products can be plugged in the day you receive them. At least I have a spare that I can take form my turntables.

But Mike from growledhydro, you are a liar, you might make great LEDs but you are a dishonest business person and I for one will not ever give you any of my money again. There are too many other US based/manufactured LED company's that also make great products for me to ever consider a spectra again.

Sorry to hear that Keen but thanks for the heads up about GLH.

dont get me wrong, when I grabbed my extra power cord the thing lights up real nice like... I was a bit concerned to see 3x green diodes and a few yellow as well. Seems like useless lumens but hey she looks good, solid and the fans are keeping her really cool too so. I have nothing bad to say about the product itself.

Oh yeah I'm not doubting Spectras performance at all, thats just ridiculous they didn't send you a damn power cord with it....

So they finally got back to me and said a power cord would be shipped monday...

But still buyer beware because I was prompted to ask them first due to another buyer's review citing the same problem.

So they have made it right, but I think considering how much misinformatin and sketchy shit there is out there that real deal companies would strive to prove themselves but...

We will see come harvest day lol!

I'm sorry, my timer actually clicked off while I was still fiddling, I had to just zip up and wait for the morning. But tomorrow is Sunday, so urm Ill be taking a round of progress pics. I will post em tomorrow. I hope the plant doesnt mind having one LED on half of it and another on the other lol.

not so bad, considering i've been quite rough on her (first timer here, only with bud, I love plants, lol)

this grow has been 100% cfl/led. I dont even have an HID bulb in my house

That sucks that your light arrived without a power cord! thats pretty shitty for sure.

Luckily my spectra has its power cord attached, i guess it simplified shipping and organization back in the day

when my blackstar arrived the power cord was faulty lol, I just received that replacement yesterday, thank god, so now no using my turntables till Mike sends me another for the spectra... is this the universe telling me not to use LEDs?

im honestly amazed my plant is:

1-alive
2-not a hermy-we are talking light cycles all over the place, flower for 2 weeks then 24 hours light for 2 weeks then flower again

i know i know, I had to leave town. So even just popcorn is fine by me, we've been through a lot together.

You have had shit luck lately my friend! Way to look on the bright side that they aren't dead though lol. Your next grow will go much more smoothly.

I sure do hope so! I am tryng to find my phone to take some more pics but... I smoke too much weed. I need a remote alarm on everything I own that is small enough to fit in one's pocket.

I am already excited for my next grow. I am going to stick with white widow (why throw strain specific experience out the window eh). But I also want to try something else any suggestions? Using soil, tent, next grow will be scrog, LED light all the way through, oh yes and love.

There are soo many strains and they all look so pretty its hard to decide.

so does the fact that this thread only has one star make it a crap thread for only getting one or since most have none does that make it a decently rated thread? Lol I have never had a thread accrue a star before.
