Learning so much from this site. Its awsome. Which is better for an apartment a pc, cab, a box? For stealth reasons, is why im asking.

i built this box as a veg box for mother plants but right now it is my learning center if you will. i will be vegging and flowering in this unit.

day 7 and she's making a comeback!

whats your soil that your using?

some plain jane potting soil from Wally World and perlite with a very low dose slow release fert.

days 11-15 are as follows. I messed up bad somewhere and I'm not exactly sure how to fix this.

I won't lie the lack of interest in my newbie thread had me down but my drive to keep my plants healthy has pushed me to keep up the progress. Got two week old seedlings along with Betty here.

repotted on day 24 and started an LST on Betty day 27

Hey mate.. I have the same lack of interest in mine, but don't worry, noobies support each other!
You think that your roots were too big so they needed to be repotted? I had the same problem (along with some others), but some piece of advice given, had me up and running.
Keep it up bro, nice comeback!!

I overwatered on day 5 and couldn't get the moisture down so I repotted in dry medium to pull the extra moisture out of the soil. Repotting helped a lot and brought the plant back in 3 days where as letting the soil dry on it's own took 2 weeks and Betty was still looking really bad. When I pulled her outta the solo her roots had made there way half way up the inside of the cup. The medium wrapped up in her roots was still waterlogged. Even given the circumstances her roots where a beautiful translucent white. I'm happy now.

Man, that box of yours is amazing. Well done for a first time build. That's all beyond average capabilities I'd say. Subbed to this, looks like you could end up with a monster of a girl on your hands.

And don't fret about the over watering, it's gotta be one of the commonest n usually the first mistake we all make.

Looks like you're back on track again though.

If in doubt, just shove your finger right down into the soil. If it comes up bone dry, only then water it.

I'm all over that now. Stay at home dad so I'm checking twice a day now. Its kinda wierd that since the overwater incedent I feel like I have a better conection with Betty. Was gonna water her today and after getting the water ph'd and testing the mg/peat moss/perlite soil run-off, she told me to back the hell off and put the 1 liter down.....lol.

Just looking the girl over and realized she has recovered from LST. Little lady got a new top.

got a new exhaust fan for the box. my little $15 dollar experiment has failed. I was hoping to keep the temps in check with a modded 50CFM bath fan and it's good for up to six bulbs. I still have 10 more bulbs to add for flowering and that doesn't include the 4 vertical T8 2' floros

Once we're done with this grow this should make a great Mother/Clone box. I'm really looking into either a large quality tent or building a big box to flower with a 400w/600w HPS. But hey thats for later, right now I'm just trying to keep me girls happy.

so my laundry room is really reeking now and has been for about a week. When I got to checking over the plants tonight I noticed Betty giving of a fruity scent along with the usual pungent mary jane aroma.

i just topped Betty and I feel real bad. like hurtin your kids bad. that kinda feeling where you just know they are never gonna be the same again....ever.

Haha, don't take it too serious, man! I hope you're being ironic! Or however it's spelled!!

Id say it's more like a haircut, there are good and bad ones, but usually it recovers.
