Spacing

I got a 80% indica and 20% sativa cross and was wondering about how far each plant should be spaced outdoors, last year I put bagseed about 1 foot away from each other and there was alot of crowding, but still got 7 oz per plant! Wanting to up the anny this year and hopefully get a pound per, any suggestions?

a rule of thumb is about 3 feet apart is good so that they dont start stealing feed from each other. if they are too close together one can supersede the other and one will be dramatically smaller.
