Space utilization

I am a new grower and am currently growing a few plants outside. I have discovered that I really enjoy the process and what a fun plant it is to grow. I am currently building a smokehouse and BBQ area that will allow me to make an indoor grow area of 12 x 6. I do not need to have a perpetual grow but probably would if it could fit in that space. So I ask... How would you go about setting up a 12 x 6 area. I will be using organic products. Lighting and everything else is up in the air as I will be buying new. Veg and flower area? Just one area? Please help with some ideas.

Have the budget coveted and i will be using seeds. Can no longer get clones in washington state unfortunately. The DYI from timber i have been considering. Area is slowly coming along. Goes slow when you build it alone. Have the floor done. And putting walls up next.
