Space Question? How many plants will fit in a 4'x4' Box?

How many plants will fit in a 4'x4' Box? I am only vegging for like 2-3 weeks to keep them small and also going to use the Screen of Green method. I will be using a home built hydroponic system.

...it depends on your pot size. I use one gallon grow bags and I fit like 36 - 40 in a 4x4 area, under a 600 watt HPS...mind you, I only get 8-15 grams per plant, I do alot of pruin'n and I lollipop'em. ( see journal in sig)

nine or sixteen - 3gal pots w/ 3-4 weeks veg. I like nine better than 16. Less work but same yield.
