Day 46 since flip

#2 is showing signs of heat stress, her leaves are tacoing , temps have been getting up around 82-83 in the tent lately, having trouble bringing them down much more than that. I have no ac yet.

The stank is real, danky pine sol

Last pic is the cmh tent. Day 36 since flip for this bunch
The 2 critical purple kush are ridiculous plants, buds are already so thick and dense, they falling over themselves. I had to install tomato cage around one to pick her up. May try same with her sister tomorrow. This cpk is very frosty and has a very nice sweet smell to it.

Day 40 for the cmh tent

Critical purple kush are looking frosty, very rock hard buds and the smell is super sweet.

Gelato.og are cruising alone, they seem much further behind the critical purple kush, still lots of pistils shorting out everywhere.

Here's a pic of one of the gelat.og

This plant began firing orange pistils right Way once she began flowering.

Now the sugar leaves and frost are also turning orange, has anyone seen anything like this before? Is this strain/Pheno related or is there something wrong? Lol

Those leaves look like they aren't liking something about the feed. Is the area getting crispy? Can you get some macro closeups of the brown spots? What is the current feed?

Perhaps rust fungus? Looks a little more like that but it's hard to tell without real good closeups

No the spots areNot crispy at all.
Feed is floranova bloom , 8ml/ gallon last feeding, started at 2ml/g few weeks ago.

This plant has been the runt of the 3 since day one, as I said she started firing dark orange pistils straight away once I flipped the lights.

But this sugar leaves thing is new. Like last couple days new.

I'll try and grab some closer pics

I don't know if the orange pistols are related but it does sound like rust fungus is a very likely cause.

I am gonna go with rust fungus. Thats what the closeups look like. Get a scope on that and see if it's fuzzy

I'll be honest, I haven't even heard of rust fungus before?

Will it transfer to other plants in the tent?
Should I flush the plant?
What would you do next lol

I'll kill it now in a heartbeat if that shit is contagious lol

There are some threads on it and I have been lucky to not have seen it personally but it's pretty evil. I am not sure what the current treatment protocol is on it but I am sure it's probably not a flower friendly option weather a systemic mildicide or sulfur based application. Like most mold the spores spread easily so you would want to mist them before moving to reduce spore spread but I am sure some spores are already spread.

There are so many things that can contaminate a grow and cause problems. I have had friends ask why I am so big about being clean when I go into my grow. I am like, damn you want a list? If it's not bugs it's spores.

Here's a few more pics
Also a pic of her 2 sisters that aren't showing the same symptoms

First pic is close up of spots
Second is plant in question
Third is her 2 sisters

I'll go pull it from the tent and kill it now if that's what needs doing lol

So what should I do?

Axe it and move on?

Anyway I can confirm it 100% ? I don't have a microscope only a jewellers loupe.

Just checked the spots for dryness or crispy and they are not. Very sticky like frost and the smell is unbelievable lol

That looks so very much like a rust fungus in the last closeups. Do a few google searches on "cannabis rust fungus" and see what the current treatment protocol is. It's evil shit. Likely it has attacked a strain that has less mold resistance. I hear it's a a systemic infection so it's hard to kill unless using a systemic mildicide and a complete remediation requires a sterilization of the space and equipment.

You may try holding the loupe against the phone and get a shot then zoom in on that to get super closeups. It's tricky though.

I don't wanna tell you to chop it unless you feel like it's a fungus. If you are thinking it looks like fungus then it's gotta go but avoid spreading spores. Still the area is infected, strains with resistance may not be bothered and finish ok if the environment is good. I would see what conditions it likes and avoid giving it perfect conditions if possible.
