For a Flowering room there is like 280 square feet of floor space, three 1000w HPS, any idea how many plants I could flower in there if there was like say four different rows, and each row was about two weeks to a month apart in age, and the plants are about 3 feet when I put them in there (so approx 6 feet at Harvest). All in soil at first, then mess around with a hydro set up I think....???

they will be three feet tall when they get put into this flowering room. There will be additional CFL's and Tube fluorescents. probably 8-10 CFL's and eight 4' fluorescents in four fixtures. I was hoping to put in 10 per HPS... with the CFL's and Fluorescents provided the additional light that is needed... will that work?

So at harvest we are looking at 6-8 footers...

Keep them 3 to 4 feet tall at flowering. 6 to 8 feet ya need the ceiling to be 12 feet high. The lights wont shine that far. Thats alot of electricity. 1 lights per breaker in most cases.
I use a 1000 watter. i use 9 plants in a 4.5x4.5 area. I get around 26 oz. They are 3 to 4 feet when finished.

nope! I'm talking about adding breakers to the box, and rewiring other circuits to the area! The ceiling is prolly a good ten feet up, which will be perfect for 6 footers. Especially if the lights are cooltubed. I plan on getting 3-5 times that in a 12x20 space.

Six foot plants are not going to yield much more than 3 to 4 footers.
Its the flowering stretch is where the bud is. The stretch is the same on a six foot and a 3 footer.

2 to 3 gallon is good. Ya can get a hell of plant out 2 gallon pot. Just make sure ya fill it with soil. I have seen too many pots that are half filled making there pots 1 gallon and 2 gallon and so forth.

Good luck with the grow. I have 2 1000 watters going now and its hot in the room.
