i thought the cure brought the smell out more? well she must be a quick finisher for sure, how many days since u've seen pistils?

The smell changes, goes from very sweet to more of a light berry smell with a little cheese thrown in.

Not exactly sure what you mean by seeing pistils, I can see 'em all over, but the color started changing a week or so ago, but have really sped up in the last two days. Her clones did finish pretty fast, around 56-60 days, so like I said earlier, I seem to be about 10 days in front of where I normally am. It ought to be really interesting to see the next few days unfold.

It's a really quick finisher, at least this pheno is, but for laughs I pushed it out to 70 days once just to see what would happen and ended up with a pretty disappointing result. No appreciable weight difference and the quality seemed to drop, at least to me.

I go by trichs, and on the PW I shoot for 75/25 amber-cloudy, that's when the color of the plant is at it's live peak.

So I thought about it. Went and sat down, had a couple bags, thought about it some more. Got a little sidetracked contemplating Rush's Farewell to Kings, got refocused and decided to go in there and put my foot squarely into that Purple Wreck's ass. I've been giving it small doses of SP for a few water/feed cycles to harden it off to the big doses that are coming, well, beginning today. I've hit it with the Top Booster, Shooting Powder and Bud XL at full strength levels. I'll admit I'm experimenting to some extent, relying alot on my perception of the plants being further along than the clones from her at the same point in the cycle. Anyhow, I'm laying it to her now, the VKs turn is coming very soon.

Good day today. The PW took the hammer like a champ and there is a visible difference in the swell, it's getting a little crazy. What drives me a little nuts is the inability to filter the HPS any better to get pics of the emerging color...you don't have to search for it now, it's plain to see.

The Violator Kush is lunging up and swelling at a good rate, she's a week and a half behind the feed schedule of the PW, so no Shooting Powder or Top Booster yet.

I'd like to point out a couple of things here for anyone new to, or considering switching to, House&Garden nutrients. I couldn't get a really good pic of it yet, but shortly it will be quite obvious. The Bud XL opens up leaves, so the BXL can facilitate the transfer of sugars from the leaf, to the buds. It dramatically improves the taste of the finished product, as well as supporting the big bud swell. Thing is this, while all that is going on, leaves, all over the plants, will begin to look sick. The appearance is of a severe cal/mag deficiency, and this is the point where you become dependent on your monitoring equipment. If your PH is good, and the PPM/EC is good, then you have to leave it alone. I've found that from this point on, the application of Magic Green, the foliar spray, becomes less critical, and for my part, I discontinue the use of Magic Green as soon as the first evidence of leaf consumption begins.

Anyhow, got some decent pics...

That's all for now.

Hope y'all have a great weekend.

beautiful, i kno how pics dont give justice to the trich's but i can see that they are really packin on.
You know, when I look at the raw data files on my viewer, I can center up some beautiful trich shots, I had an angle the other day that made it look as if the trichs were growing out of each other, that one was really cool. However, all attempts at uploading these pictures have failed...it just posts the whole picture, not the edited one. I have never had a problem uploading shots like that before, but here, I can't get it to work...any help from you techheads would be great.

I'm having the same problem to no avail...I've checked all the FAQ's and support sections for this site but no one seems to have an answer for this particular question.

I've done all that as well. Hopefully some bright person will stumble across this and solve our mutual problem.

Well I monkeyed with it some more, and may be on to a possible partial fix, but I'll have to wait until tomorrow to try again, I actually unplugged the big light for 10 minutes to test out a new idea, so hang in there, maybe I'll get it.

At any rate, I wanted to try and get some really tight bud shots to show the pistil color change, as well as some of the emerging color. I succeeded at one and failed at the other. Par for the course.

As you can see there are some really nice nugs coming along. The nutritional hydrogen bomb I hit her with has really begun to show payoff. Nice thing about the H&G stuff, it doesn't make you wait to see results.

Took a sugar leaf off today for inspection and it looks like about 70% cloudy now, the rest are all clear, I searched the whole leaf looking for amber, but found none.

Tell me what y'all think.

Well, it takes alot of time to process each picture, and it still requires the viewer to click on the picture three damn times, but it's better. The pics are noticably tighter, that's a reprint of the second pic of my first post...man, they sure make it difficult to show off your work here.

I actually tried that, I had been instructed to do so via PM, but for reasons unknown, it didn't work. Thanks for putting it out there, I'll try again, sizing the pic down just a bit...I want people to be able to see it from their computer, not from across the street...lmmfao.

+Rep for the help Bro.

My one experimental baby was surprisingly still alive via my drip system when I got back (shocking considering it was a 3 week trip)..and is now in week 4 of flowering looking great! Gotta finish a few things before starting my LSD or VK grow but its coming soon!!! :)
