Should be fine for the 2-4 weekend but 1st of june is safeHey everyone, when is it safe to put clones outside in Southern Ontario ?
This coming long Victoria Day weekend, or wait till the first of June ?
They will be coming from a 24/0 light schedule.

I'm in Eastern Ont. I just put one out today I'll see how it will do. I don't see any cold snaps in the 2 week forecast.

U may want to harden them by giving a couple hours of sun each day for a week before leaving them out full time.
The problem is usually getting them to finish in time not really start imo.

The key to outdoor growing here in Ontario is finding a genotype that triggers in late July or early August,and finishes in under 60days,the sun has no strength here in late September, October when needed most to to produce flowers,a minimum of 8 hrs direct sunlight daily is also very important.

It's really the dynamic fluctuation of our night time temperatures here in southern Ontario that keeps most of use from planting before Victoria Day long weekend. This week would have been catastrophic to most strains with night time temperatures reaching as low as 14 C.
SO, unless you have a heated green house, I would play the patience card.

cannabis plants are amazingly frost resistant...planting in hot weather is harder on then than cool weather

I have been a personal fan of May 24 weekend for platting. I am southwestern ontario and when the frost is done you can put them out. I started mine in a grow box May 1 and this will be my best year yet. And I finally get to use those organic nutes that do not work in a res !

I agree. I look for seeds that claim a 6 to 8 week max flower because that November weather is just too unpredictable. Mine started to flower last week of August last year.
