Soursop cure for cancer

So apparently there is a tropical fruit that grows in asia and south america called the soursop that kills damaged cancer cells like chemo but not the undamaged ones, making it a perfect replacement therapy. http://skeptics.stackexchange.com/questions/7222/does-soursop-cure-cancer


i thought it might be BS, hell it might still be but it seems no one has outright refuted the claim so i'll say its a nice little tidbit of info.


actually on further research, seems there is no scientific studies to come to this conclusion, no real testing.

Wow. Soursop is really popular where I'm from (Trinidad) Makes great ice-cream... Kind of milky-custardy but tart and tangy. Well, If I go back I'll make sure to eat loads!!!!

There's not a whole.lot of research behind it (nothing I felt was truly accurate at least.) That I could find. but my patient is stage 3 and we use soursop and bud to make ice cream and the like. I'm looking to find pure extract to infuse the rso with as well. He's felt great tho.

I might try an bring seeds back to grow it here or just go to the Asian grocery.

A good recipe for suck-a-bag (a sort of ice cream treat that melts slowly and tends to be like a frozen yoghurt and kind of flakey) is some soursop juice, condensed milk and custard powder with a little bit of nutmeg and vanilla in, mix it all up and put in sandwich bags, freeze, then cut a hole in the corner and suck it out. I think the custard powder stops it freezing solid if you don't have an ice cream churner. Just chuck some shake in there and you have a relatively healthy, tasty dessert. If it doesn't cure cancer it will at least put a smile on your face for just a little while..

its been tested on mice, not humans and its had the effect of keeping the cancer in stasis and from progressing, human tests have not been run.

That was the problem I found. There's much "testimony " towards its effectiveness I've read up on over he last few years but many are largely exaggerated and unverifiable so I can't take them as much but an inspiring story. Its too early to to definitively say if its making an astounding difference on my patient however he said he hasn't felt this good for a long time. Took his wife dancing last night that's really significant. Was awesome to see how grateful his wife was.

sometimes even a placebo effect can work wonders, i hope its true, looking forward to any new info on the subject that arrives.

Well I don't know if it speaks towards evidence one way or another but my patiens originally from South America and grew up eating them. Didn't contract cancer til he moves to Oregon and eats Monsanto boxed foods and stopped eating soursop when he moved. Coincidence most likely but it made me think enough to try em out there's just too many variables (age diet etc.) To really say. Ill take placebo if it helps him persevere

Hell yeah it is. I was expecting something much more sour given the name lol. Its great with some medicated crepes and whipped cream too. Glass of o.j. fuck I'm hungry lol.

While mj is a great miracle plant its also not for everyone nor an option for many. Nothing wrong with alternatives or combining them to increase odds.or heal time. Soursop might just be the best tasting juice I have ever drank in my life, I just wish it wasn't so pricey...
